    Default "we're full right now"

I hate this line. I just went back to work after getting a BA and the manager gave me this line. This is the same manager that brushed me off when I came in to apply the first time. A few weeks later I just so hapened to audition for another manager and got hired luckily. Now after I took some time off to improve my look I get wait listed. Although they have hired several new girls latly, I think clubs are always hiring and will hire who they want no matter the situation. Do I need to stalk the club until i can talk to someone else and get my job back or should I just move on? There are other clubs to make the same income and my look has upgraded so I doubt I would have a problem getting hired somewhere else. I also had a few other problems with management like being nitpicked for my hair and makeup but other unpolished sloppy bitches were allowed on stage. The only reason I would consider goign back is becasue its one of the nicer clubs with alot of income potential.

If you really want to dance at this club, then perhaps you could "stalk the club" & try to speak to the manager who hired you in the first place (i.e. call the club to see if he is on before coming in/ask a friend that works there to let you know etc). But in the mean time, while they "aren't hiring", you could always try to get a job at another club so that you are not out of work.

i don't recommend returning over and over to a club that has rejected you, unless they've changed management. if this manager has already showed disfavor for you, do you really want to work in an environment where the manager is gunning for you? you want to work in a club where they are excited to hire you, not a club where they treat hiring you as doing you an enormous favor.

if you were already working, i'm not sure how much time you took off that they won't let you back on the schedule, but again, it's a titty bar. should never cause stress. do what is easiest. if that is work a different club so you don't have to deal with mgmt shenanigans, do so.

I agree with camille. And you kinda asnwered yourself already...why would you WANT to stay at a club that has repeatedly rejected you when you can easily go somewhere else and make the same income?? Try somewhere else, you may find that you like another club much better without the added stress of management but after a while, if you still want to go back after a while, then try to get rehired.

Thumbs up Re: "we're full right now"

Sometimes the club really is Full. I help with hiring at a club and have to turn away some girls that I would really love to hire but its a small club and if we have more than 17-20 girls, the money drops. I feel it is more important to keep the house girls (some of who have been here for 5+ years) happy and making money than to add too many new girls at once and risk our core staff leaving. I say keep trying until someone tells you "Your look isn't right for us".
