Sad Going home: how not to get off track with my diet

So I'm going home in 2 days. Albuquerque is Satan's snackbar: Green chile stew, tortillas, Fredrico's 24/7 Mexican food, etc. How do I not fuck up 2 weeks of hard work during my vaycay?

How long are you going for? I usually take a few staples with me when I go to my in-laws cause they have no healthy stuff... fruit, veggies, oats, salad... Can you stock up the fridge when you get there? Also if you go out for dinner give yourself one cheat day so you can enjoy that yummy stuff or do the diet bank balance i.e.. I ate a burrito today so Ill just have salad the rest of the day... Instead of giving up allow yourself one naughty thing a day but only one

You just have to stay strong and be prepared with all your healthy stuff (like Jessie said).

I always find if I keep working out it makes me crave healthier foods and keeps me more on track as well.
Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

Unless you plan on eating everything in sight, I doubt you'll gain much weight if you're there only 6 days.

Not planning on it but compared to PA, the cuisine in NM is like ambrosia. When I went home last year everyone commented on my weight loss. I was thinking "Yeah cause there's no 24 hr Federico's, roach coaches or Frontier".

You'd be surprised how much damage can be done in 6 days... I went back to canada for 10 days and came back 5lbs heavier...

Tempest you eat very clean & from what I've seen & very little carbs if any. Keep with the plan when you can..I do almonds & beef jerky & protein bars if I'm on the road driving. As far as when you are there try to stay clean with choices but enjoy life a little because you will be back home & on the plan soon enough. The other thing to try is exercise when you can..walk everywhere.

Anyone who has any questions about Albuquerque's temptations ask some other SW members
