Hmmm... okay, I really appreciate the feedback. This RV is hopefully REALLY temporary, as in I should be out of here and in a proper home in two months. If some sort of portable, non-data cap option were available that I could then activate at my home existed then I'd certainly give that a go for internet. I'd have to be very careful though because I am located very close to their home and it seems like everything can be heard back and forth - but certainly possible! As long as you lovely ladies think it would be acceptable than I have no doubts it would work. I'll research more internet options. I know when I lived in the Seattle area then Clear was really great, but I live quite east from there now in a remote location.
Thank you for helping me NOT go down the wrong, less than profitable path! Also, I had considered stripping! I have such stage freight, crappy skin (my chest and back break out but I'm confident I can hide this on camera) and I'm so inexperienced that I think I'd be more comical than sexyAdditionally the nearest strip joint is two hours away. I know - I sound like I have a million excuses. I'm sorry! Thanks again!

ur fine their not excuses at least ur being logical about it so honestly ur ahead of the curve when it comes to the average newbie we get passing thru here . ur goofy personalty will probably go well on token sites tho myfreecams chaturbate and bongacams. myfreecams has a brutal point system for placement called a cam score so maybe start off on chaturbate and bonga when ur ready

Hi! I did this when I started, I went to hotels for a few times but what happened to me was exactly what Snowy0Star said, at the beginning you cannot count with a steady income to cover for the extra expense, I mean you can get lucky but is better safe than sorry. What I did was use the hotel room to make some videos and sell them over Mygirlfund and that's what saved my butt and other video sites for now. I am still trying to build up a steady income caming since I've had all sort of privacy and internet issues just like you. It takes some time and consistency but it seems to me you have the right attitude.
But yeah what they said, get a hotspot and try from your place without sound or something and get it going. Good luck girl!

Just how close to their house are you? Do they have wifi? Are you close enough that if you place a wifi extender somewhere near you in their house it'll catch their wifi and send it your way? Might be cheaper to grab some of their wifi for now - or even if you pay them a small fraction each month, cheaper than paying for your own.
Do you have a cell phone? Does it have a data plan? How much, unlimited, etc? I know some cell phone companies sell little portable hot spot things that are like $10 a month - but that's to add them on to your current plan. You can make your cell phone (usually) its own hotspot, but it would eat away at your data and I don't know how quickly it would do that.
And you might already know this, but if you DO decide to go the hotel room route, even for like one or two nights to do videos and cam a little, remember that you need to get approved and verified on nearly any site you choose. So go through the verification process first so you don't spend your money and end up not being able to broadcast.

Are you not interested in dancing ?
I ask because for $60 ( cost of one night hotel ), you could get a cheap outfit / shoes and start making money dancing the same day.
Hey everyone! Thank you so much for your feedback and support and fantastic ideas! Here are my answers to your questions, and please let me know if I missed any.
My friends I'm camped next to do not have wifi, but that is a damn good idea. The fire staton near us does have wifi and I can nearly grab their signal sometimes, so I thought about hacking that but I certainly wouldn't do that for this purpose
Correct, dancing/stripping is two hours away, unfortunately.
I am honestly considering using my phone for a hot spot. I'm on AT&T so essentially every gig of data is $15. I'm not sure how much data it would take or how quickly, and everything I've read gives inconsistent answers. I don't think I'd have my answer until I gave it a try. The speeds are quick enough on it.
I looked at Karma and it does appear that it might work where I'm at! The prices on it appear to be about $8/gb rather than AT&T's (exluding the equipment cost) so as long as the speeds are up to par then that could be a viable solution. Again, I'm really curious to know what the data consumption would be for say, a 4 hour cam show.
I'm toying with the idea of registering with Streamate or MFC and just giving it a go. Worst thing that can happen is I chew through data at a rate that isn't profitable and I quit, losing my "new cam girl" status with whatever site I register with. Any additional thoughts or suggestions? Any ideas on what data you consume when you stream HD?
Thanks everyone! I've never seen a more helpful or active forum! You ladies rock.

I was looking at Karma for a possibility for myself, because my current living situation is less than stellar and I have no control over the internet - and this internet sucks. Can't wait to be in my own place so I have more control over my decorating and internet. So I feel you, darlin'!
On Karma's website, they had a "What can I do with 1 GB of data?" thing. And under it, it said a whole bunch of stuff and then said "Stream 1 hour of HD video" - I guess for like Netflix or YouTube or something. So if perhaps you stream and don't Cam2Cam, you could cam for about an hour if you stream yourself in HD before you used up a GB? Maybe if you don't stream HD exactly and play with the settings so it's still decent quality, but just not the best, you can get a little more mileage/time out of 1 GB?
I hope that helps. I'm not super ridiculously tech-savvy, but that's how my mind started working when I read that on Karma's website.

Okay so that makes sense... So if an hour is about 1 GB then we'd need to make around $15/hr to recoup costs - and that'd work assuming you're paying $8/GB with Karma and want to recoup your equipment costs rather quickly or you're buying GBs from AT&T.
With that in mind, does that seem possible for me to achieve and still make some profit on top of that each hour as a complete newbie??

thats a hard thing to gauge theres a lot of factors in play with that i think the idea of just trying it out for a bit and see what happens is ur best bet. i wanna say give it about a week or so being live 3-4 hours per shift but im not sure how much spare $ you have . Its by far a cheaper gamble then getting a hotel tho .

Here's where things get more difficult to answer. The answer, honestly, is yes. Is it possible? Absolutely, it sure is. Will it happen? THAT'S the catch. There was a thread around here asking girls to put down how much they made their first times camming. Some had phenomenal numbers - dream numbers! And others had less. Others ... a LOT less. So realistically could you make $15 an hour? Probably. What's likely to happen is you'll make like $24 one hour, nothing for three hours, and then maybe bank another $67 another hour. It's SUPER hard to predict.
It's like a lot of things: you tend to get out of it what you put into it.
So if you haven't already, study your niche. Figure out your prices. Figure out how you're going to present and market yourself ... because you're going to want to make the ABSOLUTE most out of your time logged in and camming as you can.
There are things that help new girls: you're new! Haha, you're the shiny new toy! Some sites will flag you as new in some way and you'll get put in a special category for x amount of time. This helps make you visible. Lots of guys like to try the shiny new toy (or try to see if they can pull one over on you thinking you're desperate/don't know any better - so be careful!). But what happens after that? What happens when you are truly on your own? Is your marketing in place and on point? Do you know how you're going to present yourself so your regulars keep coming back and finding you, etc. etc.?
And you know what really sucks? You can have all of your ducks in a row, have everything tweaked, and be super prepared - and, for whatever reason, you could still not make what you're looking for. It can happen. It would suck if it did, and I hope it fucking doesn't, but I don't wanna sit here and say, "Yeah, dude, camming will solve your problems and SUUUURRREEE you can make that money!" and then it doesn't work for you and you're upset. I'm sure you'll do fucking fantastic - but realistically, there is NO WAY for any of us to tell you that you can make $15+profit an hour. There are too many variables.
I'm sure you can ... I'm sure you will ... but you might not. Know what I mean?![]()

Hi,
I'm just looking for feedback from those of you that have either travelled, or cammed using an RV?
What was your experience?
It was suggested, by a friend that it might be fun, since I'm such a gypsy at heart, and hate to stay in one place for very long.
*Let me just preface this, by saying, that I'm not a girl who's into 'roughing' it, in any way.
My friend is a male, so to him everything about it is luxurious. He traveled this way throughout the country with his wife. But he's a guy.
Cleaning out the waste area, hmm. I'm not to sure it would be easy.
I'm not relying solely on camming, so internet connection isn't a concern.
I would love to hear from those who have done this solo, ( no guy to help you).
I'm going to check some RVs out today.
I've never even been inside of one.
Thanks in advance.

I'm going to be driving across country soon myself & was wondering if hotel connections really are horrible for camming like one site at a time? I have a T-mobile account with a hot spot that has worked great for me so I guess if all else fails I can use that?

I have travelled around Aus, NZ, some of Asia, USA and Europe camming, was a successful and productive couple of years to say the least! I was mostly in rented accommodation and air bb so internet was always reliable. However, when I was in hotels with bad wifi I just did PSO and pic sets/ videos! Don't forget to enjoy the places you are at too!! But I made more than enough money to expense my whole trip and even saved whilst travelling!!
only thing I will say is that camming in some area of Asia is illegal, Thailand being one of them and if you get caught you could even end up in prison! So be careful if you do risk it but I wouldn't wanna recommend it as I've seen documentary a in the prisons in Thailand and they aren't pleasant! So make sure you check the law first! Happy travels... currently on my way to Switzerland for a month long camathon 😍👌🏼

Sorry for all typos, currently on a bumpy train haha

Also illegal in UAE ... I think non nude shows okay, but still risky!!

I have a tip if for the winter. Look for snowbird specials for vacation rentals. I have seen vrbo list places like a 3 bed on the beach for $900 a month. Or look for the shoulder seasons in tourists traps and jump on it. I am a little jealous right now. My snowbird wings are ready to stretch in the next few weeks.

Ive been thinking about traveling in an RV. But the timing is never right. The biggest turn off is cleaning the bathroom tank. Maybe sometime next spring before it gets too hot. We were planning on converting our families caravan into an Ice Cream truck in time for the summer. It has a tiny toilet in the back but it hasnt been used in a few years, so it's like dry to the bone. I think Im just gonna seal it off or poor cement in it? An Ice Cream tour while travel camming has never been done before. I'm partially kidding but I wonder how possible that could be? Have ya'll seen the converted school buses?

Yes, the cleaning of the toilet. Yuck! Like I mentioned, I wouldn't have a man around to help me with any of it.
Also, I would need to plug in the power outlet, cable, use RV parks wifi ( looked into it..no bueno).
Propane, drive that big thing, or tow my car behind one.
I looked online at RV parks, and the rules of the park seem very restrictive. Some don't even allow you to have visitors.

Ok, been there done that! I now own a class A RV that is 26 feet long (the big tall one that looks like a bus). The one in your pic is a class B and the Class C's are nice and easy to handle. I grew up in Alaska and in a dirt shack so I'm easy going. A nice bed and electricity is golden to me. I travel a lot in my RV ALL ALONE! You do need to get over the learning curve. Driving a HUGE ASS vehicle, height clearance on roads, bridges, etc. Learn how to operate ALL OF THE ELECTRICAL AND MANUAL systems on the RV, including the septic. There are tons of online and books that explain the best ways to do it. Lots of websites too. You can also go to 'camping world" and they will show you how for a fee.
As for the camming, ...remember, if this van's a rocking don't come a knocking. You can hear someone burp or fart from the outside. Very thin walls and insulation. I travel in mine 3-4 weeks at a time to see places. If I hit a spot with decent wifi..I try to cam if I can. There are no good "to go" deals I've seen for internet. Don't bother with satelitte internet, it never works when it's cloudy, rainy, parked under a tree, next to a building, etc. They suck!
As for living in, I could do and will when I retire. Start going to rv shows and look around. Learn the different types.
I don't like doing the trailer thing because after travelling all day I just want to lock up, close the curtains, and go to bed. On a trailer you have to set the jacks and level the trailer, unhook and plug in, etc etc. Pain in the ass!
Good luck
