    Smiley Slow Carb Diet

I just wanted to let everyone know about this diet and exercise regimen that is VERY easy and effective. The diet is called the slow-carb diet and the workout is called Occam's Protocol and they come from the book the Four Hour Body by Tim Ferriss. My husband and I have been on this for about 6 weeks now and we have had incredible results without going hungry or spending any time on a treadmill. The diet is basically lean protein, vegetables, and legumes for 6 days a week, and then you binge eat once a week. If you are interested in putting on muscle the Occam's Protocol workout is very short and simple and the information can be easily found online with a quick google search. You don't have to buy the book or anything, although he is a little more thorough in the book. Here is a website that explains the diet in more detail than I have http://gizmodo.com/5709913/4+hour-bo...slow+carb-diet
Anyways I just really wanted to share this with you ladies because I am so excited about the great results that I have had and a lot of the girls in my club have been asking me what I have done to tone up in the last few weeks.

This sounds pretty good & doable - especially the fact that a cheat day is thrown in the mix!

This is pretty much already how I eat... and ya it works. Abs are coming back after only 3 weeks even though I binged for about 8 over Christmas/New Year. But I haven't cut alcohol out yet, but will when I really wanna lean up.

Even when Im trying to eat clean I still eat it from time to time. Its not the best but its still better than a lot of things. If you only have it once a week and a reasonable palm of hand sized portion, I personally don't believe it would do much damage.

Olive oil is ok. You can even use a little bit of butter for cooking if you must. And alcohol is the hardest thing for me, too! I try to stick to red wine and vodka sodas, but every once in awhile I cave and have a Guinness. I am still seeing great results though. I weigh a little less every single day!
WHat I do is on Monday nights I boil a huge package of chicken breasts and cut it up into pieces and put it in a few tupperware containers. Then I make a big batch of lentils in chicken broth (much better flavor than cooking in water). These are the main two things that I eat during the week but I throw in eggs and refried beans, and sausages and lean burgers sometimes too to mix things up. ALso... frozen mixed vegetables and spinach from the grocery store are cheap and they only take like 3 minutes to cook in the microwave.

i started this today. i am also eating everything organic which i hope helps even more (organic chx is sooo expensive btw).

here is the one thing that i love but i am confused if it is okay. i love synergy kombucha tea. there is 35 calories for 8 oz. it says that "low calorie" drinks are okay but it doesn't say exactly how many calories makes a low calorie drink. do you think i will be okay drinking this everyday still?

    thank you!
