    Default Can't View Customer Profile After Cetain Amount of Time (SM)?

    For whatever reason, after a certain amount of time of being logged on, when I try to view someone's profile on SM while in my room, it'll say "you must be logged in to view this page".... I'm already logged in, and there's no option to log in again. So unless I log out and log back in over and over, I won't be able to see customer info after awhile. I t even prevented me from blocking someone last night because I wasn't "logged in". Anyone else having this issue?

    I had this same exact problem about 2 days ago...the next few days were normal...I have no clue what is going on...I'm guessing its just a SM glitch or something

    I'm not sure how you have your webpages set up, but when this happens to me it's because I have more than one tab open on my browser and I've done it improperly. Not saying you have; just saying that's what my issue has been.

    Go to your SM login page and login. Then put that page on your toolbar. When you want to sign in, click on the page from the toolbar. Then, to open more tabs, drag the site from your toolbar to the URL spot where you would type in the webpage (sorry, i can't remember what that's called). I haven't had a problem with it signing me out since then. But if you sign into each tab separately, it will sign you out.

    If that doesn't help, I'm not sure what the issue is. Sorry.

    When you say toolbar, do you mean "favorites bar"?

    I have had this problem since the first day I was on SM. what I do to solve this problem is log into my account first to open my profile page. Then use Ctrl+N to open the same page in another window. Click Start My Show on one page to open my room. After doing it, I can check custmoer's profile, kick or block them without being told to "you must be signed in to view this page". Hope it helps.

    The multiple tabs trick is a good one, especially if you occasionally load other portions of your "login-holder" tab.

    The reason it keeps logging people out is a bit of a glitched security feature. Essentially the site is viewing your session as timing out, even though you're streaming. It's a good feature, especially if you have a bad habit of leaving yourself logged in elsewhere on the site. It prevents passers-by or roommates from tweaking your settings or accessing your account.

    They really should alter the timeout while streaming though. It's an irritating glitch.

    Usually this only happens if you have multiple windows/tabs open where you are logged in to streamate - so that you have one for your e-mail etc and one for your live show. Sometimes you can get around this, but it drives me so nuts, that I just keep my live show window open and nothing else. If someone wants to e-mail me, I just tell them that I can't log in to my e-mails until after the show.

    Sucks though - I wish that SM would add an e-mail option along with the "recent earnings" options so that you could check it during your show without any issues.
