Default "WEN" Healthy Hair Care - Has anyone tried it.

I saw an infomercial last night about "Wen Healthy Hair Care". That stuff looks amazing, If I wasn't to tried I would of hoped out of bed and grabed my Visa! In the light of morning I was all "if it's too good to be true..." So now I'm wondering if anyone has tried this stuff and if it works even half as well as they say it does?

    Dying for info thanks!

I've tried it. It's like over priced hair conditioner. I'd say save your money, as you're better off washing your hair with conditioner without silicone for the same results. The smell isn't that great either .

I've tried it, and it does work wonders, especially if you're "detoxing" from hair care loaded with sulfates, parabens, and silicone. But you need some serious water pressure in your shower to get all the conditioner out. Seriously, like standing with your head directly in the spray for 3-5 minutes. And if you have long hair (mines down past the middle of my back) you have to use a ton of it to get your hair completely saturated, and so you run through bottles really quick. And it's not cheap. I would recommend maybe using one bottle to recondition your hair, then switching to a sulfate, paraben, silicone free shampoo and conditioner set. The Body Shop sells some really good hair care. I also recommend Organix (if you're looking to save a ton of money) or Surface (if you're willing to splurge).

I love wen. For me, it does everything it promises to do in the infomercial. But yeah, it is pricey, especially if you sign up to get the kits sent to you. They send a lot of stuff you just don't need. I only wash my hair once a week, so my bottles last a while, and I stretch it out by using wen to wash my scalp and cheap conditioner to wash the length of my hair. There's also a generic wen and sally beauty supply - it's cheaper but doesn't work quite as well imo. http://www.sallybeauty.com/cleansing...efault,pd.html

& this's why I won't use it..^, although I'm putting in my .02. I have so little water pressure, (& I didn't realize that was a factor, so extra thanks, fire). My hair's long too, & I have an oily scalp, not so much in the winter, but enough.
Also, from trying sulfite free shampoo, no way, it does NOT clean my scalp/hair & I've tried 3 different brands.
There's also Renpure, sold @ drugstores/Ulta, I saw they had a 2 for 1 (2 products bundled together @ Ulta it's organic I think sulfite free but not sure.

I think I'm gonna try it. Though I'm going to try the others listed here too!

Thanks so much for the info.

I saw the infomercial the other day when I was getting my nails done and I was pretty intrigued. Glad to hear some "real life" stories.

I personally hated the stuff. It made my roots flat and dried my hair out bad, even when I used it as a leave-in conditioner. But it did do a good job cleansing my scalp.

I stick 100% with argan oil shampoo/conditioner, it makes my hair feel amazing

L'Oreal has a similar product out, EverCreme Sulfate-free cleansing conditioner, 1/4 cleanser 3/4 conditioner. I don't know how much it costs, but cheaper than the wen. That wen stuff, yipe$! "Excuse me, may I take out a loan to buy my hair products"?
