Ugh, I feel you. I lived for 2 years with the laziest guys I've ever met. I once got sick of being the only one who took the trash to the dumpster (they didn't want to pay for trash pickup so we would load bags in our cars and illegally dump). But still, despite this being their idea, I was the only one to ever do it. I decided "I'm not gonna take the trash out anymore and see how long it takes them to do it." 3 months straight.... they would let the trash bags just pile up in the kitchen - when you walked in our front door, the entire house REEKED of rotting garbage. Their solution? Light incense... they would only move the trash bags when they started to pile up so much, they were physically in the way... and even then, they would just toss them outside on the balcony... in the middle of winter.... 3 months later, we have a store shed full of trash bags, an entire balcony gone to waste because you can't enjoy it with all the nasty smelly trash, and my roommate is complaining that when he went out there, he saw a rat jump out of one of the bags. Everybody kept complaining about how gross it was and how we needed to do something about it... but it was finally ME caving in again that got it out of there. I had to bribe a guy I don't even like to ask to use his truck. It took 2 trips with the back of his pickup truck FULL to get rid of all the garbage bags that had piled up.... Absolutely sickening... and when I bitched to everyone about how ridiculous it was that once I stopped taking out the trash, it just didn't get done, they all tried to use the excuse that I was only one with a "good" working car... hmmm... their cars capabilities didn't seem to stop them from driving 13 hours down to New Orleans and back... and the ones who didn't have cars never seemed to mind asking to borrow mine for anything else... But, oh, when it comes to trash, they don't want to "intrude" by asking if they can use my car... yeah right... lazy fucks. We lived in a literal DUMP for 3 months and nobody gave a shit.

The second year got even worse with the arrival of the 2 lazy potheads. They would cook and leave rotting vegetable remains ALL over the counter, until someone else cleaned up. Rotting food in pans or in the fridge. They were so damn lazy, that when the garbage was too full to even balance anything on top, they would literally set their garbage on the floor.... I mean, really!? One of them colored all over his closet like a fucking 2 year old when we lived in RENTED space and it had to come out of the security deposit. The night we were moving out, neither of them had packed any of their shit, and while everyone else was scrambling around and cleaning everything, I asked where they were - across the street, getting high... Their shit STILL wasn't out the next morning in time for the move out inspection and I ended up just tossing out all their food and all their bathroom shit because I wasn't gonna give a shit about it if they didn't.

I honestly do not understand how people like these manage to function into adulthood. Like the girl who can't close doors? Wtf? Does she have some sort of mental disorder? How do you get to the age where you are living with roommates and you can't close doors? Or lift a trash bag out of a trash can? I mean, there's messy, oh-I'll-clean-it-up-later attitude, and then there's just leave-rotting-shit-sitting-around-for-months NASTINESS.
