Default c4s - i dont believe this is legit

a while ago i got this message in my c4s email

    Hello!

I hope this season is going well for you, and it's not too chaotic!

We have worked out a special pricing structure for Clips4Sale stores that allows for full protection of your content from piracy for only $65/month. This includes around the clock discovery, removal and reporting, along with copies of every notice sent out and an online Client Dashboard.

We have recently begun protecting Strangling, Hand, Nail and Glove content. Our servers work most efficiently, and we thwart pirates most effectively when we are able to protect same niche content en masse.

Would you be interested in protecting your content in order to boost sales and maintain exclusivity?

Please let me know, I will look forward to hearing from you,

    ~Alyson

what do you think? looks like scam to me.

    I'd say it's a total scam
i have changed the "official" email address to the same one im using there for guys to send me messages - since i found out that each time someone buys a clip from you, they get an email with your sign up email address in it, in the message body.
so i have no idea was it though the site in some official way, or was it just like that - a random scam. anyway, ive looked through the site announcements, the official ones, and there wasnt a single one regarding this.
maybe i should email c4s support and tell them that there is someone out there looking for a new way to scam girls.

There is a company called the Porn Police or something like that that will scour the internet for your stolen content and send out DMCA notices for you. It's fairly pricey (I think like $300/year). But you don't have to specify a niche or anything. They just look for all your content.

If anyone would like more info, I can email the other model who told me about it. She uses them and is really satisfied with the service. She said she's pretty much nonexistent on the net besides the stuff she's put out there herself.

    ok, got a reply from c4s ---

    Hello,

This is what I heard so far and I am still checking to see if we have an affiliation with them yet...
    -----
As far as I know we have not yet made a deal. The company degban is legit so they can signup and get content removed either way.

Glad to hear they are not a scam and that there are services like that available , although $800.00 a year seems steep. The wording on the email reminded me a little of the Nigerian bs scammers or when you sell something on CL. " Consider it sold but I am out of the country for 2 weeks and my assistance will promply bring you a cashiers check"

They aren't a scam. It says that right on the c4s sign up page, ladies.
