...what?!!!

The whole point of the 2000 one was to satirize the 1980's yuppie culture. The movie was so fucking cute and brilliant. Why mess with a good thing?

It hasn't gotten the green light yet but considering Hollywood has a habit of allowing young, inexperienced film makers to remake already perfect "as is" classics I wouldn't be surprised to see this rushed through and dumped into theatres within the year.

"That's a very fine chardonnay you're drinking. I want you to clean your vagina."
who else is going to pull off that line?

I thought they came out with a American Psycho 2 a while ago? Anyways yeah I saw that at the theater and couldn't stop telling everyone about the chain saw seen. No one could do it better than Bale!
original version was classic...cannot be touched. why would they want to "modernize" it...f'n hollywood

American Psycho 2 was crap for sure but it was fucking cute. Maybe I'm biased because I like Mila Kunis?

Oh I guess I did see that.....wasn't william shatner in it. She was the killer right?

Ok first they were remaking older movies, which makes sense sometimes but now fairly recent movies? Are they going to remake Avatar next year? Maybe remake Beerfest or Jackass?

Just as bad as remaking The Princess Bride which is going to be remade. Ridiculous!
A brilliant novel Ellis is one of my favorites, I LOVED the movie, Christian Bale was a perfect Bateman. This remake is so unnecessary. I mean if you have to remake something from Ellis how about Less Than Zero. As much as I like the movie, they really softened the book's perspective, so I could see remaking that. They should be turning Glamorama into a movie instead. BTW if you liked American Psycho chances are you'll like Glamorama a lot.

I would love to see a remake of less than zero! I'm going to go google glamorama now.

Though it would be hard to top downys performance in that movie, it was his best in my opinion!
