Hey.. I've been thinking about going out on contract. I didn't see much recent threads on Guam and was wondering if anyone is there currently that wants to offer a status update on things for me?
Any info would be appreciated!!

I was going to point you to the Anything You Want to Know About Guam thread, but it looks lik you've already been there. I think the information there is all pretty much still good, and it's probably the best place to post questions.
Also if you do a search (if you haven't already) you can read some of the other threads. Even though they are a few years old I feel like most of that info is still relevent.

Also, if you don't mind me asking, when were you planning on going? I'm going to be out there in May.

I just came back from guam a couple weeks ago. It was my second time there. I mostly just go there as a working vacation. I make a lot more other places. I made around 150 to 300 a night and they schedule you five nights a week. You also get paid the 450 every six days so its not bad. there are certain girls doing extras, mostly the foreign girls but its not that obvious. The customers are mostly asian tourists early and later in the night mostly military. Its very chill and relaxed at the clubs and everywhere else. Everyone knows everyone so going out and partying is fun, even in the daytime. and its beautiful there, very nice beach. Pm me if youd like.

^Are you who I think you are? Lol
I've lived/worked out here for a... long time...lol.The Anything You Want To Know About Guam Thread has some very recent information, imho. Nothing has really changed since all of that information was posted. Otherwise, if there is anything else you'd like me answer I'd be glad to=)
Thanks for taking the time to respond! I'm thinking that I would like to leave around April. I really am hesitant about taking the club condo. It just seems like a gamble.. a house full of strippers that I don't know. It could be fun and I could make some great friends or it could be like being locked up doing a bid waiting my time out. I just need to consider the fact that I will still have to send my half of the rent home while I am gone. I'm leaning more towards sharing a place with one girl or even someone in the military.
It doesn't seem like a working vacation when you have to work 6 days a week. Do you honestly have time to really enjoy the island and the beach while on contract?

Guys in the military who are underway or deployed more than they are home are always looking for roomates because vacant houses attract mold here^^ Usually, since they are getting BAH for their housing, they don't charge much. I can't say it happens all the time, but it isn't uncommon for girls to stay in dancer housing for a little while and then find their own housing situation.

I can only speak for myself, but when I did the contract I was completely exhausted for the first couple of weeks, but then I actually got used to the schedule. Reflecting back on it, I feel like if I weren't working 6 days a week I would've been tremendously bored. The island lifestyle is one that is very slow and laid back, so working (imo) made me feel productive when I had been lounging around all day. The strip clubs here also have a very er...neighborhood-bar atmosphere. I can honestly say that on nights when I do go out to any given bar and socialize I can't help but to think to myself the it would make more sense to just go into work so I could get paid to drink and have conversations with people.
So yeaha, 6 days a week really seems like it would be overwhelming but it isn't as bad as it sounds=)
