Default Take the Olive Oil Challenge

So I read an article about this Olive Oil swindle that's been uncovered.
Basically countries are exporting more Olive oil than they actually produce (Faking it)

Here is the test to check if your Olive Oil has any in it.

I was wondering why the hell mine congealed in the fridge.... I guess it's a good thing! Actually though, I think mine was partly solid/partly liquid.

Mine is cloudy (so I guess they pressed like one olive in it) but liquid. Ugh!

""It described a network of rogue tanker captains and unscrupulous bottlers that reaches from the Mediterranean to Mumbai, Rotterdam and Galveston, Tex., dedicated to doctoring old, inferior and fake oils. They are chemically deodorized, spiked with chlorophyll and beta-carotene to turn them greenish-gold, then labeled with meaningless terms like “cold pressed” or “100 percent pure” and sold as the finest extra virgin. ""

    ugh

    some sites to find certified olive oil: http://www.cooc.com/ , http://www.internationaloliveoil.org/ , http://www.olivecenter.ucdavis.edu/

Mine stayed as clear liquid. Rubbish! I will be looking for a better brand.

Ewww, what a scam. I'm going to go put mine in the fridge right now. It's Trader Joe's brand of 100% Kalamata Extra Virgin Olive Oil. We shall see....

Is the 100% true. I have a bottle of Bragg's and it did not get solid. I just have a hard time believing that Bragg's would not be natural. I mean, they claim to be all about natural/organic products.

If this is true, it will just make me even more paranoid and my grocery bill even higher.
