i wouldn't worry about it unless it's psychological. what you can't cover up with dermablend, you probably won't be able to see in club lighting. also, i can't think of a better explanation than "cancer treatment" if anyone bothers you about it.

^I second the using dermablend as a cover up (works wonders concealing scars, tattoos, blemishes etc). Also as mentioned above, if it is something that is bothering you IRL as well you could always look into laser scar treatment (but bare in mind it is expensive & depending on the nature of the scar it may take more than a few treatments to see results). There are over the counter products/also available online (i.e. amazon etc) like creams & sheets that can help to soften the appearance of scars over time (some work better than others though).

But, there are more interesting things on your chest for the guys to look at-so they probably won't even be able to notice your scar, especially under the dim SC lighting .

I have a huge birthmark on my right forearm, and that has never been an issue for me at work. I've never had someone openly reject me over it, which is actually quite suprising because it is so dark and prominent...maybe people talk about it behind my back though, idk. I would suggest that you prepare yourself to answer lots of questions about your scar-- especially if you work in a club where customers are heavily intoxicated.

I don't have a scar exactly but after having three babies my belly button (formally an innie) popped and is now an oval bulge about an inch and half long with a scar from my former belly piercing i can no longer wear because my button portrudes so far. I've really never seen anything like it and am quite self concious of it. The rest of my body is quite slim and no one ever knows i've had kids so it looks quite out of place. No one has ever said anything negative and I am consistently a top earner every where I go.

Men have occasionally commented on it and I've found the best policy is to be upfront. Many times I feel as if men had more respect for me after I told them the reason and were more able to connect with me as a "real person" which equals more money and an easier time convincing your customers your time is woth their money. People will eventually ask, be straightforward.

Dermablend is a great product but it does wear off a bit and can look like a bruise as it wears off. Use the setting powder or something like bare minerals mineral veil over it to get a little longer wear out of it. Also if you look you can usually find some sort of outfit with straps that could cover it or wrap a sarong or scarf in such a way that you can cover the scar while exposing your breasts by wearing a bikini top or bra which you can take off seperately. A cupless bustier with thicker straps might be a good option for covering a scar in that location. Also try a fish net shirt that you just pull up over your breasts when on stage, it will cover your shoulders and the outside of your chest , it's super easy to remove a halter bikini top or bra that hooks in the back without taking off the shirt.

Mederma, BioOil .. that sort of things will help reduce the appearance of new and old scars. I'm covered in scars, I suffered from severe depression when i was 13-14ish and used to cut A LOT. Its still very embarrassing for me many years later. But whatever scars you have and whatever reason you have for getting them, most will not be visible in the club. If they are, do like I do, and come up with crazy war stories about how you got them. I've told guys that I ran through a plate glass window, tractor accident, boating accident... whatever.. the weirder the better I think, because in the end it shuts them up. You could say you were in a jousting tournament or you got stabbed by a sting ray and lived !

I have a couple of pretty big, pretty obvious scars from abdominal surgery when I was a baby, and they're tethered to my abdominal wall, so dermablend does the square root of nothing to hide the actual shape of them. I can honestly say, aside from the occasional (and depressingly regular) stupid comment, the vast majority of people either don't notice or are merely curious, and mine don't have all that interesting a story. If anyone brings it up, I'd just tell the truth (if you're comfortable with that), and I think it will either work in your favor ("OMG, you're such an awesome badass! Dances plz!) or will have negligible impact at best. If you're confident, that's what they'll see. That, and boobs.

I know the exact scar you're talking about, someone close to me has it.
It can be fairly noticeable. I don't think it will affect your earnings, though.
Personally I don't like these guys to know anything about my personal life unless I trust them, so I wouldn't be forthcoming. Guys can use info against you in strange ways.
Maybe say you were in a car accident as a child and really don't remember it...

car accident, any accident would work. if you want to post pics of your chest in a top so we can give you actual feedback, that might help the psychological aspect. i really doubt, unless it scarred terribly, that anyone will notice. also, we can keep brainstorming responses you might give. perhaps, if we can come up with some really off-the-wall reasons why you could have a scar there, you won't feel quite so self-conscious of it.

Most strippers I know have some sort of scar, stretchmarks, c-section scar ect. I personallly cut my wrists bad about 4 four years ago. I was dancing at this time so after it healed I would wear lots of braclets(Bangles) over it. Only one guy has asked about it and i said car accident. One of my best friends used to cut and you can see the scars. People ask her about it rarely. I wouldn't worry too much.

i know a girl who has a scar from having heart surgery as a child and she banks so I don't think it's a big deal especially if you have the right attitude.. no one is perfect and if they seem to be I'm sure there was a price for that...
