Not to mention, they want first months, last months, one month security deposit, and broker fee, which as of April 1, is 15% of the rent. On top of all that, I am being told that I will have major problems finding a landlord that accepts 2 dogs, even though both my dogs are under 3 lbs. Then there's a whole separate pet application and deposit.
I also LOVE how they don't list square footage on apartment ads. Apparently in NYC, 500 sq feet is huge. The average Upper East Side studio is around 300 sq feet, and costing around $1500-1800.
Let me know if you have any tips or insight that might help me!
