Default Yeast Infection: should I miss work?

I've been dancing for 2 years and never had this problem before. It's been going on for almost a week I'd assume. I just went to the doctor today and she gave me a pill to take. My question is, should I go into work tomorrow or not? I work in a topless club so any discharge wouldn't be noticeable still that's very gross I think. I don't have a smell because I fingered myself a little in the tub to clean it out somewhat. So my main issue would be that I really don't want to do any dancing. I can't imagine making much money with no friction dances. I mean I could get away with it for a little but I like to always do my best.
    Should I work or not?
Have you ever been in this situation and what did you do?
    Thank You !

Dude, I get yeast infections almost bi-monthly. Yeah, yeah, I know TMI, but I'm very prone to them. If I missed work every time I got one, I would miss out on a lot lol Unless you have super gross, nasty smelling discharge, you'll be fine, especially if your club is only topless. The pill will relieve symptoms after like 1 day, and it will be completely gone in 48-72 hours. So if you already took it, I see no reason why you would have to miss work tomorrow. Just don't stick your crotch in anyone's face, use your baby wipes, and change your undies halfway through your shift. No one will even notice.

See how you feel tomorrow. If the symptoms have subsided, then by all means go. But if they're still pretty intense, take it off.

I understand. I've never had a yeast infection, but I used to get UTIs once or twice a month. It sucks.

I just had a UTI and a pretty bad yeast infection and still went to work. I felt pretty uncomfortable on stage but it wasn't that serious. I feel just as uncomfortable when I have my period. The symptoms start getting better as soon as you take the pill so it should be gone by tomorrow, or at least a lot better.
