    Default Stripper REJECTION

Lately I found it so hard to work in a club due to constant rejection. I am 5'8 size 2, my body is very fit . So far I've been turned down by 6 clubs 3 of which are in the city(Manhattan) which is where I reside. I noticed they favor Brazilian,Russian & Hispanics rather than black girls like myself regardless of our similar size. So I went back to Jersey thinking I'd blend in more but unfortunately that didn't turn out good. I went to numerous urban clubs one of which was jersey girls & was told by the manager "you need to gain weight in order to work here & you wouldn't make no money or fit in because guys don't like skinny girls". In my head im thinking "Who wants to see big fake asses all the time though?" I know pole tricks and I know how to dance just like the big booty girls and he still wouldn't even let me step foot on stage. Now I'm clueless of where to go. I do have a regular job but resorted to this for extra $$. Am I the only girl this is happening to? I can really use some advice/feedback plz.

Not everyone cares about a$$....I know it sounds cliched but try some of the upscale clubs in AC or even Philly. I know a ton of places where, by your description you would make customers nut in their pants looking at you.

your height and weight is helpful and not nearly as helpful as a photo.
also, "resorted to this" on a website of sex workers is not going to get you anywhere. perhaps your attitude is what's keeping you from getting hired.

I think your attitude may have something to do with it too. I don't know how club politics in your area but by your description, you will get into a club eventually. But if you don't change your mindset/attitude, you will burn out quick and leave with way less money than you want.

I worked in clubs before this isn't new to me so the whole attitude and mind set is something I have under control already I just wanted to try different places but came across some bumps.......Sin City is way to close to my home so I wouldn't dare work there, dancing wise I know I'll fit in but I know to many ppl to be working there

If you don't mind going nude (onstage), I would try Hott22 in Union or Harem in Lodi. Both clubs have "skinny" black women who do really, really well.
