That was my earlier point. There ARE no "good" sites with hourly payout for free chat. Every one of them either has a scheduled hours requirement, or downright shoddy per-minute rates in premium chats.
Like I said, it's a trade-off. You can either make 2-3$ an hour for free chat and an abysmally low rate for your actual work, or you can get paid a decent amount for your actual work, making up for that 2$ you don't get for free chat.
Let's say you work for eight hours a day, five days a week. That's full-time hours. We'll say about a third of that time is spent in premium chat. 14 hours, if we round up.
On site A, which pays for free chat, you're making 2$/hour for free chat, plus about $2 a minute in premium.
$2/hour free chat x 40h = $80
$2/min premium x 14h (840min) = $1680
Your total for the week would be $1760
Site B, we'll use Streamate as an example here, pays you 35% of your gross earnings, but does not pay you for free chat. Let's say you have your rates set at 6.99 for your exclusive chat. That would mean you are getting 2.45 a minute.
Using the same numbers as above:
$0/hour free chat x 40h = $0
$2.45/min premium x 14h (840min) = $2058
Your total for the week would be $2058
And that's only using per-minute pricing. Take into account group chat, and SM's gold shows, and you have much higher numbers from the site that allows you to set your own pricing, regardless of the lack of hourly pay.
Do you see what we're getting at?
