Make sure you're very clear about what you want. Check your surgeon's credentials. Lay off the pain meds unless you REALLY need them because the 1st 2 weeks are a bitch trying to shit.

If these are consults, don't be afraid to let the doctors know that you are an exotic dancer ... thus 'bigger tits means bigger tips'. This will both spare you the obligatory ASPRS 'housewife speech', and may enable you to get bigger implants as a first time patient than the doctors would be comfortable doing for a 'housewife' ( which could also save you $4-5,000 in 'redo' costs next year ).

Take a ton of pictures with you of the shape/ sizee/ kind of boobs you like.
Remember that they will look a lot smaller when in so don't be afraid of the bigger implants. There is less than a quarter of a cup size difference between 380cc and 410, or 525, 570 etc, so always go with the bigger size (i honestly don't know why they bother to offer such small differences!).
Get front fastening bras/ clothes ready for after the op.
Get fit before the op because you will be unable to properly work out for a good few months after, and being fit and healthy will make recovery easier and quicker.
Make sure to ask about the aftercare policy, the lifetime warrantee of the implants (if the company goes bust a year after your op where does that leave you?), type of implants (i doubt they're using PIP, but wise to check).
Ask to look at the surgeon's pictures from previous patients if available.
Find out how many follow up appointments you get and if they're all free.
Don't be afraid to negotiate on the price - if you find a company offering cheaper than your chosen one, go ahead and tell them and they will usually match the price! Also ask for discounts, late space discount, refer a friend discount, etc etc.
Agree with Tempest about the pain meds - chuck em and just use ibuprofen (or whatever you have over there that is similar) if needed
Good luck!!It's a fun journey full of twists and turns. I'm almost 10 months post op now and would do it all again (apart from boobie blues!!) x
Yes! Tell them what you want. I had my 2nd BA last Tuesday. When I had my 1st I wasn't camming. (Has my revision due to 8 years old saline that started rippling)..Now that I'm older and wiser I was able to go in with the mind set of "look, i'm paying $6000. If I want freaking C's or damn FF's. Your ganna give it to me!" Of corse within my body's capabilites..lol And yes, lay off the pain meds. I either was stopped up or had the runs. lmao

I dont have any advice...just wanted to say, Im so jealous!!! Hehehe!!
Congrats! Ill live vicariously through you til I go in for mine!![]()
Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink!

"Boobie blues" are when you get depressed because you wish you had gone bigger/smaller/rounder whatever. Coulda/woulda/shoulda

Sounds like you are probably just sensitive to the anaesthetic or pain killers. One of the pain killers they gave me after my surgery was so horrible it was like being on acid. I would trip out for 3 hours after taking them almost an awake but dreaming state and then when I came out of it would cry for 3 hours and seriously wanted to kill myself. Its very odd but I am so sensitive to a lot of prescription medication since Im experienced with street drugs. Prescription shit seriously scares me. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for all the replies! I am really excited, Ive wanted boobs for ten years! Im hoping for a fairly natural look....I researched online for weeks befor
e picking three drs to do consults with. Ill let you all know how it turns out.

Boobie blues is also when you feel just really shitty after the op because of the effect of the GA, lack of exercise, pain, limited movement etc. It lasted a few weeks with me and I couldn't sleep through most of it. If you take care of your diet, drink lots of water, and try to get outside as much as poss you will avoid a lot of this hopefully x

Indeed ... I'm on my 6th set of progressively larger implants, and could have saved myself $10,000 plus a couple of months worth of lost income if I had 'pushed harder' for the size increases that I really wanted / needed professionally."Boobie blues" are when you get depressed because you wish you had gone bigger/smaller/rounder whatever.
