Rollers, always. Use curling iron just to touch up with the rollers get done. Just my preference.

I also prefer hot rollers to a curling iron. The curling iron is a fucking bitch...takes forever, and if you have a ton of hair like I do, by the time you've gotten to the last piece of hair, the hair you curled first barely has any curl left. Hot rollers, you can put 'em up, spray with hairspray, and walk around doing whatever until they cool completely, then take 'em out and you have serious bombshell curls. That's the other thing, I find I can't get any kind of good volume with a curling iron. But like I said, I have really really long, really really thick hair, so people with thin shoulder-length hair can probably get a lot out of a curling iron that I can't.

Rollers...my hairs kinda thick so it takes ALOT less time and in general causes less damage.

I have some ancient Conair rollers that I've been using since I was a teenager, but I totally need new ones. I didn't know T3 had rollers, I'll have to check those out. I would advise you to make sure before you purchase anything that the AMOUNT of hot rollers in a set is sufficient for your hair...I have so much hair that a nice little set of eight rollers wouldn't be enough. I'd need at least 10 or 12 if not more...definitely more the longer my hair gets.

I had the bedhead ones for two years and they made me quite happy. They just stopped working one day though

I liked them enough to buy them again, however.

I use these, and I love them. I think they are cheaper at walmart.

I use these clips because I don't like the metal ones. Bought them at sally's.

Does anyone know what the best method for HEAT FREE curls is? My hair is damaged from overbleaching/dying and breaking at the ends and my curling iron makes it worse so I've been on the hunt..I saw these http://www.amazon.com/Conair-62502z-...079914&sr=8-11 at rite-aid and I heard good things about them but they look like they'd make tiny curls/ringlets as opposed to bigger curls/body waves.

Have you ever tried flexi rods from a local beauty supply store. You can roll your hair dry overnight and undo before. The curls last very long!

a girl i know uses sock buns, like every day. she puts product in her hair post-shower and a few strategically placed sock buns and wakes up in the morning with gorgeous curls. they're the big body waves!

Ghetto rollers aka socks! If you haven't tried this method (or sock bunning) it is a must! The curl will stay put for not a few minutes, a couple of hours or even a day. I have had these sock curls stay put for 4 days plus. Any type of heating tool cannot compare to wet hair that has set in over night! Seriously try this and you will never use hot rollers/curling iron again, it takes way less time too (besides sleeping time) lol. I have done this for years, and at first your curls may not look so good, but eventually you will get it down pat and end up with beautiful curls like these!

Curlers creater more volume fore me and last longer, i also like being able to do my makeup while my hair sets instead of standing there with a hot iron. Its much easier on my arms and not so tiring (i have ALOT of hair) I do feel a curling iron is more versatile with the looks i can create, but i think that if you are more skilled with hot roller and get differnet sizes you can do differnet things, i just have a basic jumbo set.

What's the secret to not getting a crease when using hot rollers? Also, as a non heat method I saw some youtube videos recently about putting a headband on and just wrapping the hair around it, it seems so simple, I think I might try it tonight!

Does anyone do a sock bun and then blow dry it? Or will the heat not get deep enough because it's wrapped up? I want to do this so bad but I need to wash my hair in the morning if I'm gonna go to work that night.
