1.) You are not going to get business as a high end companion. So be realistic. You have to crawl before you walk.
2.) There are too many resources online for you to read and learn about the business. It is unfair for those who took the time to research the business to help you when they had to help themselves. THe information is free - utilize google.
3.) Search the threads.
4.) Amanda brook's the internet escort handbook should help you out.

Sweetie, I mentioned having to crawl before you can walk. The internet seems to be THE place to get yourself out there and making money. Going the strip club route is sleazy and all you will do is get a lot of dancers to hate you.
Oh and did I say it was tacky? Don't become an extras girls and think you are an escort. You are just a strippers that does extras going that route not an escort. I know a few ladies that make money being hotel escorts but they live in vegas. They work the hotels and casinos. What I'm trying to tell you is what you are shooting for is unrealistic. Now if you were to go the internet route, market yousrself, become popular/reputable and wanted to go UTR (Under the Radar) - that is very possible but starting out under the radar at a strip club is not going to get you the best results.
I also would wonder how you would screen these guys you would take from the strip club.

This was your post
You said you weren't sure meaning you were considering it at some point...at least that is what it came across as. That is what I based my advice on. My second advice to you was telling you that what you were trying to do was unrealistic unless you go the extras girl at the strip club route. I also mentioned the hotel/casino route and said the ladies that did that were in bigger cities. Can you do that and be successful in Ohio? No. Hey I was only trying to help and you're going bat shit for no reason. Good luck.

I wish I could help but I"m not an escort.
However I think this thread might be helpful :

@foxrc0310 Since the webcam work section has move this other work section has become mostly about escort and many threads have been created about exactly what your asking. which is why it is a good idea to use the search function on this website about starting out.
Evern if your not using the search function if you were able to click on the titls of previous post escort related in this section you would see a lot of info and that would give you a starting point.
Your probably not going to find information on starting out becuase of the laws associated with it in various parts of the country and around the world. you will mostly find general information because giving direct information is consider "purcuring" which is technically against the law. So you will have to find all the general information you can find about escorting and make your own plan based on that information and learn as you go.
There are some sex worker support groups across the USA who offer information which might be helpful but that will invovle you getting proactive and finding that information.
Its not that we aren't trying to be supportive around here this online community is pretty much one of the main resources people use about infomation on the webcamming and escorting so we are very willing to help as long as people have started to do thier own research in some level.
I personally have posted in countless threads about starting out in escorting and webcamming to the point I am getting a bit annoyed of constantly repeating myself.
Another thing hun trying to be an escort these days without being online with proper advertising and screening can be diffuclt, and going the hotel and casion route can be risky as you are really pushing the limits with the laws in your country or state.

here's another one : http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sho...corting-advice
I know AW has an escort section but not really sure how ladies go about meeting the guys there. I did see that they have a check in safety feature on that site. Plus if you're not comfortable with putting your face pics up , you can always put some in a private gallery for only the serious to see.
I see that book Amanda something is talked about in many threads so maybe that could be helpful.
From looking in the strip club junkie section it appears that some do OTC with different dancers. Now of course it could cut into a dancer's only money but perhaps you can see just one or two regulars that no one knows about.
Then again you can try the hard long drawn our route like I did.
I started in the yellow pages and just called up agencies. They were pretty much the bait and switch types. Wanted to charge the guy $200 that they keep 100% of and I was supposed to go in there and work off tips. They said they'd train me but within 15 mins of sitting with some woman that took a quick snap shot and sent me out with some credit card stubs, I was called to work.
Never did it.
I called a few other places through clist and they all sounded shady. One guy was a pimp that had some arrangement set up at a hotel.
Another guy was really sweet but his wife found his ads and he ended up sleeping on the couch after closing down his business a week after I inquired about the position.
I thought escorting didn't involve sex so yeah I kinda just went out there clueless doing my own research and later said "fuck that" I"m going to cam. I was rather lucky I didn't get myself killed but probably came close.
Ohh there was one last place I went to (agency) same creepy coffee meeting shit. They had such a weird set up. They wanted you to deposit their money every day you worked, they took 60% you kept 40 and then they also wanted 50% of your tips too. They paid you once a month after you deposit their money every single day for a whole month. I asked the woman what was expected of me but she kept giving me this " disclaimer line as if she thought I was LE". Yeah I really thought it was being escorted to events and dinners etc.
You can always give What'syourprice a try. From what I've heard there are men that seem to think high offers =escort/prostitute. Some of the cheaper $100 think the same. You can look in "other work" for that info too.
Actually now that I think about it, WYP could be a nice starting place for an escort that's more than willing to provide sexual services.

I advertise and do my bookings online, so really don't know to approach men in person... I would be too nervous to anyway, since I'd have no way to screen and verify him. I hear that its done, I just don't know how, or know anyone who finds clients that way.
I second the suggestion to get both Amanda Brooks handbooks...that was my first step in, and an amazingly valuable resource. I would not at all suggest going on WYP or any SD sites looking for clients. The ones who are seeking pay for play are not looking for escorts at fair or market rates...they are looking for girls who don't know any better who they can see for as much as possible while paying as little as possible.
So if you do decide to go the online route, its best to head into it on legitimate sites. Um... I cannot offer much more advice on getting started though since I myself wouldn't know where to start finding guys the way you want to. if you do find some info during your research, please share!
Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink!

High end clubs are full of perfect potential clients. As long as you don't have a LE problem at your club just ask guys after a a bunch of dances (300$+) if they want company later and only see travelers in hotels. If you know what to look for, trust your gut, and quote more then 500-600$ you should be safe. I feel better with that then Internet advertising. Plus guys at the clubs are so use to inflated prices so you can charge as much as an upscale escort. Also on that that note you can be a stripper at work and an escort after. Just don't be trashy and do it in the club.

Check in your city to see if they issue license to agencies - if so you could try there - but most clients now days ( did that sound country lol ) - most clients wanted to see a picture before they book - so usually an agency will post your pictures on their website - you could go the headless / hide your face route but - some not all - will still not book without a face pic- you should never have to give up your extra money
