Default Good bags to bring to work?

Im looking for duffel bags to bring to work when I start dancing, nothing to big or to small to keep all my things in it. What kind of bag do you bring? I want to be able to lock my bag to just in case I dont have a locker when I start. I saw some pretty VS bags but there expensive and I dont know if you can lock them.
What do you bag do you bring to work?

this is what i say...it doesnt matter if the bag itself locks, when a girl can just steal the whole bag lol.

even in the most upscale well monitored dressing rooms you may encounter a rat that steals.

i used an adidas bag that was also my gym bag. cool thing they did at my club was to have us place signature tags on our bags for added measure and at nite they got "checked out". of course this was almost 20 yrs ago when dancing was all unicorns and rainbows. doubt anyone will take all those extra steps now.

so yeah, you don't want cute and flashy, you want dull and does the job!!!! ))

I used to have a bag just like the one on your ebay link. It was good for carrying what you needed.

I'm sure its possible, but I've never heard of a girl stealing the whole bag. I think most thieves just take random stuff out of the bag. I caught a girl trying to take my half used hair spray once...like wtf? I think you'll be okay with a plain suitcase that locks. Of course some desperate girl still might break the lock/take the bag, but you can't do much about that anyway

As long as you avoid name brand and/or super pretty bags, you shouldn't have to worry too much about it getting stolen. Getting a locking bag should definitely be a priority if you don't have a locker though.

Rolling luggage bags make a great mini-locker. It seems like they're easier to organize than a duffle.

Just starting out here, I'm going to use a clear backpack w/open mesh back, with a nylon drawstring inside..

I agree with this 100%. A lot of the girls I've worked with have these.

Those luggage bags always made me think these girls were travelling dancers, and always made me think, wow they look important! Lol.

Ive used the mini rolling suitcases, but i hated then leaving the club at 5/6am and the noise it made down the street, i felt like it drew attention to me and with the make up etc still being on, kind of advertised that i was a girl (usually) alone and potentially carrying a lot of money. Plus, where i dance is city centre and there tends to be a lot of drunks stumbling about, a roller suitcase would make it harder to run away if i was ever stopped by someone with malicious intentions etc. But that's just me personally, i know a lot of girls who use them and they are easier to lock up usually.

I have a big zip up carpet style bag with shoulder straps. I like it cause its big enough to carry around everything i need, without being cumbersome and ostentatious. Its cheap but fairly well made and not something which would automatically alert others to my purpose, it could just be a big handbag!

My duffel bag was $8 at Dollar General and it's held up pretty well. Don't over-think it. Any bag that zips closed and fits in your locker will do.

Yeah the roller bag seems good but loud and it makes me think of when i was going to high school and how annoying the kids with roller bags were lol, maybe that just me. My dollar store is awesome but so far I havent seen any bags there. Ill look at walmart maybe? I just want it simple and lockable
