Hi! I really need some advice for a particular pole move I want to do. It involves kicking your leg as high as your head and actually HOLDING IT THERE. Then I can place that foot that's up high on the pole and do some more interesting moves. I understand that the "holding it there" part may not be so crucial since I can put my foot on the pole and rest it there -- but I do need to be able to hold it for a bit in order to get it to that position.

At 4:20 she does what I want to be able to do. Imagine that only standing up. Sorry, I wish I could find just a regular video of some girl on drill team or something doing it, but I can't find anything.

At 3:55, I am trying to do this, too. I think they require the same skills.
So any tips? I'm determined to get this down! I have figured out the best stretches to do the splits (in JUST 1 month -- a fellow pole dancer taught me! So that's why I'm asking here on stripperweb). I learned that not all stretches are effective for a particular goal. So if you are someone who is able to do the things I described, let me know the specific stretches or exercises that help!
