Smiley Is it weird that I like dancing to southern rock?

Southern rock has to be my favorite type of music of all time, and for some odd reason it is also my favorite type of music when I dance; whether is when I used to work, or at a regular night club or bar.

These are some of my favorites:

Also, I have to admit that music like dubstep, Skrillex, or newer electronic music (my cut off with electonic music is 2004; when it was virtually unknown) CAUSE ME HORRIBLE HEADACHES, the same with reggaeton.

No, can't get it in SC's much anymore. it's all monotonous same beat, same samples, R&B.

It's like a special treat if the band actually plays any instruments anymore.

Not as strange as lot of what passes for ‘music’.

Bonus points if you rock it to the cowboy boots and hat.

Seriously, it's all the same club/dance music in strip clubs. I miss hearing Van Halen. Now I feel old.

Lolz. Electronic music was virtually unknown prior to 2004? Really?

Anyways, I appreciate older rock music as well, but anything gets old after hearing it too much. I actually enjoy hearing new music at the club, as opposed to some of the over-played classic rock that I've heard played on the radio for the past 20 years.

^Back in 2001, NOBODY that I knew was into electronic music; like, two or three people so yes, it was virtually unknown for most people. IT wasn't as mainstream as is it now. I'm ok with newer music, as long as is not electronic; it really gives me headaches especially since there is so much good new music out there.
