    Smiley Implant diary

I just got my boobies done today (YAY!!!) and have started up a booby blog for anyone who wants to see- I won't be posting entries here on SW because I worry it might really annoy people to have one thread dedicated to my own body and ego on the front page for like 2 months.

Please note: if anyone here has done a surgery diary directly on here, I am not aware of it, though I'm sure it's probably happened at least once. Therefore, please realize that the "annoying" comment is NOT a personal attack on anybody, because I love you all, especially after all the support and good advice you've given me... I just know how drama can develop quickly on this forum, so I'd prefer to stop it before it has a chance to develop. If you (mods especially) want me to put each entry directly up on here, I am cool with that, too. I just don't want to annoy anyone or spam.

Anyway, I am putting up at least one photo per day to track healing, softening, dropping and fluffing, etc. and will be describing my experiences every day so that my fellow implant girls have something to compare their experience to.

Here is the link to my implant diary.

Can I ask when did you have your old implants removed? How many years did you have your first implants for before you had them removed?

What size were your old implants? You new boobies look amazing!!

    Aww thanks

My old implants were 350ccs but had to be removed a month after being put in due to a severe freak staph infection. I had them put in mid-december 2010 and had them taken out mid-January 2011. I could literally poke my implant with my pinky finger through the hole the infection was so bad.

They were way smaller and perkier before I'd had any surgery and kinda stretched out when I had the implants taken back out. I'll see if I can find some photos of back then to add.

For reference, I was a 32C before, and I am 5'2" and 103 lbs. They were a large 32E-ish after the first surgery, and I am hoping they'll be 32DD after I heal.

Why don't you start a "boobie blog" on here..there hasn't been any new blog entries in a long time. Mine are 32E's. (I dropped a band size after hitting the gym 5x a week) I want them bigger though. Is the 2nd time around easier for you?

That sounds like a good idea
The second time is WAY easier for me, by far- I assume because he already took care of rearranging and cutting things the first time, so I have fewer things that need to heal than I did the first time around. I'm barely bruised at all, breathing isn't really a problem, and I think I've swollen a lot less this time around. Very little pain, and I'm actually pretty energetic.

Possibly, but I'd definitely ask your surgeon about it first. My incisions are still healing at day 5, and it would really suck if you got an infection.

    A. re-do's always result in an easier recovery

    B. until your incisions are completely healed, there is a significant risk of infection if you allow the area to become sweaty etc. You already have some element of risk from your former staph infection ( i.e. your implant replacement surgery may have 'stirred up' a pocket of staph that was previously encapsulated by scar tissue ), so I wouldn't recommend doing anything that might increase risk factors for the first several weeks at least.

    PS they look fantastic !

It's the same doctor- he only charged me for anesthesia for my re-do (I'm sure to avoid a lawsuit), and as far as I can tell this was just a freak one-in-a-million accident in this case- he's actually a really credible surgeon who I've had a few other procedures with.

    And thank you, Melonie <3
I will keep all of that in mind- I've been on antibiotics for like two weeks now to prevent any risk of re-infection... I seem to be in the clear so far. I'll remember to keep cool and not sweat- the last thing I'd want is for that nightmare to happen all over again.

    Isn't DD the same as E? Don't you mean 32DDD or 32F?

I'm going by the UK system, but to be honest, the whole system gets really confusing after D anyway: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brassie...Cup_sizes_vary should explain everything.
