I have begun looking for a vanilla job, because I've been averaging minimum wage with camming. I used to make $200-250 for a 4-6 hour shift when I started in 2012, which is why I thought I could make a living at this. I would bounce between $60-90 per hour. Now? It's a struggle to make $50 during the same time period and I frequently don't. I'm going to do restaurant work. Maybe I've just aged out because I'm 44 or customers are bored with me. I can't afford any plastic surgery at my current rate of earnings. I can't pull the same numbers I used to pull (400-600 then versus 30-100 now). The uncertainty between earning $10 versus $75 in a shift is too stressful for me to maintain and it's become soul crushing performing and trying to stay positive for hours on end with very little tips. I may continue to try to cam part-time on days off, but it's no longer going to be my focus.

I wasn't expecting to get rich quick but this seems ridiculous.
