How Much Money can I/You make as a Camgirl?
So you want to know how much money you will make as a “Camgirl”? The answer is no one knows but “YOU” and “YOU” won’t know until you “WORK!” There is no way to know if you will sell like hot cakes OR struggle to make ends meet as someone working for minimum wage to make ends meet. It happens. Maybe you will find yourself in the middle making about an average nice check enough to get by – pay bills and then some. But the thing is no one can tell you that you are going to make this much doing it since you may make less or more than what they quoted you and then what they said is irrelevant. Your best bet is to be PROACTIVE about this job if you really want to do it! Just do it and WORK! In order for you to know how much you will make, you will need to work a consistent and regular schedule for about 2-4 weeks to see your average. The more you work, the more you will figure out your true average and plus your average will go up as you gain more regulars from working too.
This is the Internet where men from all over the world like all types of women so even if you are not the mainstream definition of beauty, sexy, in shape, etc…That means nothing online in the real world of cam! Yes, mainstream looks probably will do best but again not having a mainstream look does not mean you won’t make money either. If you work enough - and when I say enough I mean work this like a regular job that you would have outside the home, traditional brick and mortar job you go to 5days a week for 8hours a day- then you will make money. Give or Take some can make a high enough hourly average to work part-time hours 4hours/day 5days a week and still earn fulltime income and some may need to work overtime 8hours+/days 5or more days a week to earn a fulltime income. You won’t know until you actually get on cam and work, where you fall into.
If you are trying to way out the risk of cam and seeing if the money is worth it then “Yes, it can be worth it and No, it may not be worth it”… depends on what amount of money is worth the risk of not wanting to be exposed in the adult field. You can make a hell of a lot of money or you can make just enough to get by or you can be struggling still working cam. I always feel like if the risk is going to be too devastating to take or detrimental to your well being “IF” you get found out I just would not do it. Some say it is not a matter of will you be found out but when. Plus everyone who finds you may not even tell you. If it would mess up your dream job in the future or the career you like/have now and you have been working that job for years and it is secure and you plan to stay in it for the long haul then don’t do it but that is ONLY my little opinion in this article.
Now finally to the real question at hand…”How much can I make as a Camgirl?” And the Ultimate answer is “You will make nothing…… a little……..a lot………..damn, you’re freaking Rich&Wealthy!” LOL Seriously, you will make and can make any range of this depending on so many factors like;
1. Physical Appearance * Just look good portraying the niche or character you are wanting to play out*
2. Personality* Be good at acting your character you are wanting to play out or Be Yourself but Entertaining and Interesting*
3. Performance * Energy*Fun*Spontaneous*Fresh* Just put on a Great show!
4.Props * Toys, Costumes, Clothes, Etc
5.Promotions * Marketing and Advertising*
6. Price * Do what works for you and do not put your self worth on a price! Do what is best for Business!
Truth be told you could NOT do any of those things and go online with a basic computer, decent webcam, and good enough internet AND type the whole time with no sound, showing no face and waiting for shows but if you are on long enough…You will still make money however how much is the QUESTION but again you where asking that anyway and like before I/We still won’t know..LOL
The only thing you can control is how much you work. Especially until you find your own average income for yourself. You cannot control if you will make money every hour on the hour, or be in private every minute when you are online, or make big money every day from cam but you can control how much and how often you work to get your money! Sometimes the hours working are just as lucrative as the money made. I find they go hand in hand a lot. You may NOT start earning a great or banking income until you work enough hours.
Camgirl hourly averages can range from $0, $5, $10, $20, $40, $60, $100+ an hour. You could earn $0, $50, $100, $200, $300, $500+/day. You could make $0, $300, $500, $1,000, or $2500+/week and you could make $0, $2,000, $3,000, $6000, or $10,000+/month but no one knows how much or what you will make but you and you will not know it until YOU WORK! And yes, it really does range from all those numbers. LOL I am guessing though that only a certain percent of camgirls are hitting $10gs or more a month from cam alone. What that percent is I do not know. Personally, I would (am/did) look for other hustles to compliment it so I could make $10gs+ just to avoid burnout. Just my .02.
Plus though you can after awhile predict your average the more you work, there is and are still inconsistencies with cam income. It is not always consecutive which is where long hours come in to play. You may earn $10 in one hour and then nothing the 2nd hour, then maybe $100 the 3rd hour, and then $50 for the whole total of 3hours, and then $100 the 7th hour and maybe $5 the 8th hour and so forth…which means for 8hours that would be about $265 for 8hours on this given day…but it can be very inconsistent and not consecutive on how much you will make so the bigger picture is to work as much as you can….It could possibly take doubled the hours to make the same thing the next day. Or it could take you all day and night to make $100 for the next 3 days. True Story. You just have to try it out for yourself. Though again after while you will have and find your average which means you will know that is you work this day so many hours you will make about this amount.
But the Answer is to WORK and in camming, Trial and Error is not bad but a learning experience, your own work experience is what will make you money!

OK, no one will fall for that (I hope), but it speaks volumes about how sex work's earning potential is percieved.

And they went on: just imagine, $30 000 per day, how much is that in a month, in a year! They must be crazy, or they know nothing about the $'s value and they're too lazy and/or stupid to look it up...? I don't know.
