Thumbs up Hello from Toronto, Canada

Hey there everyone. Figured I'd introduce myself. I'm Anasastia. I'm pretty sure there are a few anastasias around these boards already but that's okay. I'm from Toronto, Canada and I'm a student. I'm not in the industry just yet but that's what I'm here for. Hopefully, I'll pick up a few things here and there and then go from there.

Hope to get to know some of you!

Hey! There's a few girls here from TO I'm sure you'll get to know them on here soon enough. There's tons of info on the newbie board to get you started.

My advice to you is to draw boundaries right now and never cross them for any amount of money. Also, don't get picked up by a pimp. You're going to deal with a lot of stuff in Toronto that other girls don't deal with but it is possible to work there and make bank. Just keep your eyes open and do not let yourself be taken advantage of.

Hi there Sadie and thanks to everyone else for the welcomes

Thanks for the advice. You do make it sound like things are sketchier here than others. May I ask why?
and yes, I realize I need to draw some boundaries. I'm just not sure of where to draw it just yet. I do admit I'm pretty clueless as if it's not obvious already.

It's a big city. Bigger cities generally mean more girls, better looking girls, and more girls that offer extras. Combine that with the high percentage of customers that are either travelling here from other countries where strip clubs tend to be more like brothels and strippers are more often than not, prostitutes instead of dancers, or customers that are newer immigrants from the same countries and have not yet adjusted their expectations of dancers, and in addition the tendency of toronto clubs to have pretty closed off very private spaces for lap dances and...well...it's a recipe for disaster.

You do not have to do extras to make $, but you will have to develop a hustle and dance style that takes into account what other girls offer. For example, because of the high amount of extras, you can't make good money selling air dances in the lap dance area--but you can sell air/table dances for $10/song at most clubs, they're more popular at certain clubs than others. I recently started offering shoulder massages for $10/song as well. You can give slight discounts for blocks of time--if you get creative within your limits and develop a thick skin you should do great! Did you have a club in mind you wanted to start at?

I am from Toronto as well, welcome to the board I don't dance I escort in Toronto I thought about dancing but also noticed a lot of girls who were dancers are now coming over to escorting so there has been a shifted in the whole escort industry. Plus I have also connected with a group called Maggies for support within the industry.
