Default web camming with a bird in the house............

I won't be in the same room as her (not planning to right now anyway) from what what I've seen with some camera recording tests I've done, when I web cam in another room you can hear her squawk.
I'm thinking of just putting her out on on the back porch, but I have a question about it.

Does anyone know if there's any legal reasons that she shouldn't be heard on camera? I know there are certain types of pictures where it's not legal to have a animal in the shot, but I'm not certain about sounds of a pet.

also, does anyone on here ever had their pet be heard while they were working on camera?
just thought about that the other day, kind of a unusual question.......

    any thoughts?

Where you would run into problems is if your bird rivals you in volume-that can be distracting to the guys.
that's what I'm afraid of. I live in a small place, and when I play music she can get so loud that she could drown out me and the music. she's not a little parakeet, she's a parrot.
I think I may need to put her on the back porch, but that's just a temporary fix. we'll see what I do when the weather turns colder. I'm so used to her I didn't even give it a thought until the other day.......
guess I'll have to figure out what to do!
    thanks!

I don't let it bother me, but I work skype, so a particular big box site may have rules about that kinda thing. In general though, I can't imagine it being much of an issue (after all it's a sound, not an image). I always play music anyway, so I have my stereo near my bedroom door, fairly far away from my cam set-up, and the music somewhat drowns out the wailing when I'm with a no-nonsense customer and need to banish the cats.
That seems to help a lot.
To be honest though, the occasional bird call sounds kinda cool to me, but I get that I'm not your target audience

Like loveshooks said, should be fine since it's a sound and you're not having the bird in the frame. Just because he's a parrot be careful, I heard of one girl having a bird while camming...he learned to moan and mimic and the tipping/private chimes sounds. lol.

LOL! this bird is 23 years old, she's been with me for about 20 years of that. she's learned to say a lot.
my husband loves to tease me about this one.........

before we were married and I moved in with him along with my bird, we lived in a small place, with all the changes going on, I felt it best for my bird to sleep in whatever room I was in, like she was used to.
one day hubby and I are having sex, and she started making these moans sounds. I knew right away where she got them from, but it was the first time I'd heard it from my bird.
I tried to pass it off as "oh, she must have heard me at a romantic moment. " Last time I ever tried to fib to my husband! he looked me right in the eye and said "that's not you! "
my bird was mimicking the sounds of the guy I was dating before I met my now husband! and now? if she sees us getting hot and heavy she still copies the noises my old beau made during sex.
Husband just teases me about it. He thinks it's as funny as hell.
    oh well!

at this point I wouldn't be surprised what she picks up. You are absolutely right, they will mimic exactly what you don't want them too!
