it's kinda hard to tell cause it's not super close but to me it looks like a regular smokey eye with browns. I used this the other day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkdxM9hhy-Y
just use browns instead of black and you can 'adjust' the shape of the smokey eye like in the picture. And maybe don't use a highlight.
lots of brown toned lip products, brown toned blushes/bronzers, and rusty brown eyeshadows along the upper and lower lashlines. notice the lifting cat eye effect with the eyeshadow. smudge and smoke black liner, tightlined.
all imo, of course.
I do this for work ever so often. I have green eyes so this makes my eyes POP! The name of the mac shadow I use for this has worn off the labelBut its a brown with a plum tone to it. I use a nude shadow all over my lid all the way up to the brow bone. Then I take a eyeshadow sponge and but the brown shadow on my lids up o the crease. Take a eyeshadow brush and blend blend blend. I take a shadow crease brush and circle my entire eye with a tad of shadow. The most important part is to blend really well. When I do this type of eyeshadow, I use a very small line of black eye liner on the top and then I line my waterline. Finish off with a light coat mascara. I do my eyes after foundation. In this picture it looks as if the model is not wearing really heavy face make up, so that is what is making it so natural. Thats a beautiful picture!
I think MAC eyeshadows in Mulch and Bronze would be great for this look. Just get a good brush and blend them really well. Or you could use cream shadow and smudge it. Laura Mercier caviar eye stick in cocoa would be a good color for that. I love those things because they're really quick and easy.
