    Default Questions about seperate browsers

    Hi!

I have gotten two browsers (one for business and one for personal) and I am little confused on a few things.

    1) What is stripper web, personal or business?
    2) I have been using firefox for both until now so what should I do to remedy this? Or does it matter?
    3) Should I be turning auto save for passwords off? That may be a silly question lol.
    4) I have chrome and firefox, if you use both which do you prefer for what, and why? I have never used chrome before so I would like to know what others preferences are.

    TIA

I don't really understand part of your post, but my favorite browser is Google Chrome. It's just better and smoother, in my opinion. My second fave is Firefox. I have to use Firefox on ImLive though (ImLive doesn't work right on Google Chrome).

    Which part doesn't make sense?

Do you know if most things work better on Firefox? I have never used chrome before. I am excited about it though its like having a new toy!

I am not on any camming sites as of yet because I lost my drivers license so the new one hasn't arrived yet; which is good in terms of doing as much research before hand.

Will you be sharing your computer with another person? Some questions seem very secretive. I have a Mac laptop so I use both Safari and Firefox.
You'll know which works better for you once you start working. It really depends on your webcam and internet speed. Those two are vitals.

The part that's confusing is why bother having two separate browsers? I do everything on Firefox, I have yet to try Chrome although some people prefer it. As for the password issue, yes turn off the auto store it's more easily hacked to steal your info from what I've heard around the web. FF has an addon for LastPass which securely holds passwords and I believe it's compatable with Chrome as well.

    1. I guess you could say Stripper Web is for personal AND business. You can find lots of useful info here to help you succeed in camming, but it's also a great place to chat with fellow cam girls and chat about a variety of topics.

    2. Are you happy with Firefox? As stated previously, I prefer Google Chrome. I'm currently running Google Chrome and Firefox (I only use Firefox to cam on ImLive).

    3. I usually stay logged into SW and other sites that I'm on frequently, so I don't have to keep typing in passwords for sites that I'm always on.

    4. Answered in my previous post.

I read in the safety sticky that using one browser for business (like your alias), and one for personal is recommended. I agree with this and figured it would be a pretty smart move so basically my questions are in reference to that. I am also a very all or nothing personality, so I would litterally only use one browser for camming, marketing, all that; and the other for personal, school, etc.

Thanks for the last pass tip I will definitely have to look into that!

Okay, two things, first about the secretive, like questions when you log in? Or MY questions lol.

Second, what kind of internet speed do you ladies get? I did a speed test and my ping was 68, download(or whatever) was 13.5, and upload was around 3. I dont know what any of these really mean and the techie explanation I got didnt really help. Anyone have a "computer for dummies" suggestion?

That's why im not sure if I should use it on both browsers :S

It is under my alias email so im thinking it is business, but my question now is should it really be in with the stuff that *potentially* could be hacked? Im confused, and probably WAY over thinking this.

Thanks so much for these replies ladies!! This is by far the greatest resource for all of this stuff!

Using two browsers seems a little redundant to me, but go nuts, its not going to do you any harm.

I use firefox - chrome is a decent browser, but there are issues with a few camsites and compatibility.

Definitely turn off the password auto save. Not safe.

SW is personal and business, but if you are this concerned about safety, then I would set everything up under your "work" side of things.

Honestly, I think you are overthinking this!! LOL

I think the point of separate browsers wouldn't do much for a hacker or virus that's going to get into your computer. Maybe by partitioning the hard drive or even having separate user accounts on your computer, but I don't really see the browser separation making a huge difference, that's just me though.

I don't have different browsers for personal/business stuff, but I have 2 accounts on my computer, both not password protected as I am the only one using it, and I don't have nothing to hide to my man. the reason why i have different accounts is that I was always terrified to mix things, especially if click on facebook LIKE botton on an adult website and share it on my personal facebook lol.
don't save passwords if you are hiding something from someone or if you have always guests in your house or kids.
Usually firefox is the favorite browser

I love Google Chrome!!!!!!!!! (I also like Firefox)
I use Chrome for all my porn/camming related stuff. And Firefox for everything else.
    Why?
If my family/friends come over and happen to go on my comp, they would use Firefox, not Chrome.

    Thanks ladies!

I think I actually like the two seperate user accounts, that seems perfect and so organized!

I will also turn the password thing off, I got an app to save passwords so I have my work cut out for me on setting that up lol.

Thanks again ladies! This was really helpful
