Alright, ladies. I have to at least give myself a pat on the back....I survived the winter and got out of a serious rut. For a couple of months, I walked out empty handed during the week and then I was lucky if I broke $100 on a FRIDAY! Since then, I'm happy to say that I've regained confidence and have boosted my weekday average to $200 and $400-500 Fri/Sat. But...I live in an extremely seasonal place and I would like to learn how to maintain a higher income all year round.
During the slow season, I would like to pull in what I'm making now. $500 during spring break seems ridiculous to me. Idk, I feel like I live in a tiny place and there is so much more to dancing out there. I'm not sure if I really want to switch clubs; I was recently given a position of organizing our social events and handling advertisement. Doesn't really do much moneywise, but I think it's something to be proud of.
So what are some ways to supplement income during slower times? Maybe cam on the side? I traveled over the winter, and I believe I made more money up there then I would up here, but that's a skill I'm still mastering. Does anyone travel regularly? I thought of purchasing a timeshare somewhere and maybe traveling during our slow times.
I used to have high paying regulars who would offer to pay me just to go out to dinner with them, so I thought of doing that, but I would really like to live in a gated community first.
Any ideas would be incredibly helpful! I want to break out of this little box of "just good money" and start making amazing money!

Faithy, I actually started out working in a very upscale club, but I prefer sort of a nice relaxed environment, but not slummy. My stripper persona is kind of alternative and "one of the guys." The club I work at is the nicest in the area, and we actually get slammed during spring break, bike week and summer. It's just the fall and winter is so blaaaaah. I also have a husband and child, so anywhere I travel, I really need to make a significant profit. I've thought of taking them with me and treating it like a vacation; I can drive to New Orleans and bigger cities in FL, like West Palm Beach. I also work at my old club whenever I go home, but last winter, my travel expenses were very high and I ended up coming home with like, $600...which doesn't seem like much of anything, except that if i'd stayed south, there was a good chance of being evicted or something. Anyway...I definitely want to travel, but can't really stay away from my family for too long, unless I take them with me.
