Question Newbie thinking of changing clubs and needing advice

    Hi all!

Title pretty much says it all. I currently work in an extras heavy dive. The club doesn't seem to attract many new customers and the most I've ever seen was about 20 customers on a Saturday night about half that was club regulars. I'm trying to stay clean and within the local laws. I'm having a hard time dealing with the customers that come into the club as most of the them come in expecting extras. I've only been there for a month now and considering changing clubs. I don't really have too many regulars. I guess what I'm asking is do I stay or should I just start anew at a different club?

Do you have other options for clubs nearby? It sounds like this is a no-brainer (I mean that respectfully...I'm sure the situation is more complicated than it seems in a li'l post on SW)!

I do. Most of the clubs in the area are own/operated by Deja Vu. The other independent clubs in the area have reputations for being just as dirty and slow as the place I'm at now.
I did used to work for the Deja Vu chain of stores as one of the clerks, but I was laid off. Rumor has it that management at the Vus count dances and are willing to cut deals on the rent if you only had a few dances/actually tried to hustle.
At the dive, I'm probably one of the younger dancers there at one of the Vus I might be one of the older ones. My hustle isn't great. The Dive currently has a flat rate rent. I'll usually average $100-$200 for a 6 hour shift. I've been offered more money for extras, but refuse. I've lost quite a few potential regulars due to my refusal to do anything more than $20 dances. City laws are very strict. One-way and preferably no contact. The dive dosen't have any CR or vip. Dances are supposed to be fully clothed. No real bouncer to speak of, only a door guy on the night shift. I've overheard discussions about and witnessed many handjobs.
Basically, I'm tired of feeling like I have to cross my bounderies to make more money. I feel like if there is going to be a raid, it'd be this place.

^^ Sounds like a new club would definitely be a good idea, both for your money and for your peace of mind

I've worked a deja vu dive and a more upscale dja vu. To me, it really seems like it breaks down to management. They actually took more of my money at the dive.
