How do you find hotels where you won't draw attention? Is there any way to get hotels at a discount?

I prefer to book 3.5 to 4 star depending on the area Im in....I use priceline, but I book with traveling buddy, that way I can check the areas and make sure I dont book a marriott. They are mormon run and employees actually get bonus' if they report someone they think is an escort. I accidentally booked them through priceline one time, but thankfully they had a back entrance and it was busy with a conference so I had no issues there. Hilton hotels are my fav.
Anyway, I dont like the 3 star and under or budget hotels, because for one they tend to be a lot smaller and not busy with people coming in and out...no one to blend in with. Also I want to keep up a certain image...plus well, I just like being comfortable wherever Im staying at.
Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink!
Hotels and motels are generally not stupid. They KNOW that a significant chunk of their business is generated by ahem "professional ladies". So long as things are kept quiet and discreet, management tends to be cooperative or at least look the other way. There are even a few hotels in NYC that cater somewhat to escorts.

Hiltons & Marriotts are known for working with LE so unless you know a particular location well and that it meets the requirements for discretion, don't stay there
Hyatts are my favorite, as are boutique hotels. In your city, it's best to book directly with the hotel and pay the full rate when you checkout with cash since you can't claim it on your taxes (I think the rule is, within 50 miles of your home you can't claim a hotel on your taxes - and on that note, DO YOUR TAXES!!!! make a cover business).
When you're touring, it depends on how certain you are of your plans. If you're fully prebooked and pretty certain your plans won't change, book with Kayak - they show the lowest prices and unlike Priceline, you can see which hotel you're booking. If you aren't positive of your travel plans, I'd again suggest booking with the hotel directly, that way if you choose to leave early you can get more of your money back![]()
So if you want to be with me
With these things there’s no telling
We just have to wait and see
But I’d rather be working for a paycheck
Than waiting to win the lottery
Besides maybe this time is different
I mean I really think you like me

Hiltons too? Aw jeez..thats the first Ive heard of them... Marriotts are notorious cause of religious thing so I avoid them, but maybe Ive just been lucky with Hilton so far. Sheratons are pretty nice too, Ive had really good luck with them.

OH and I like Westin, they're very nice.

Hilton and Marriott both have some training for staff to spot and report suspicious activity. My understanding with Hilton owned hotels is that its geared more toward spotting possibly "trafficked" girls. Most 3+ star hotels aren't going to look to cause problems for someone as long as they don't draw undue attention. I have heard that some hotel brands are taking a harder look at women who frequently only book 1 night stays.

One thing to note about hotel incall is the problems femme drag can create on checkin. Skirtsuits, dresses, any sorts of feminine business clothing even with a modest heel (let alone what a lot of twentysomething corporate types actually wear)... hotels will sometimes give you the hairy eyeball, depending on your age/build. As someone who likes to dress femme even "off the clock" and hates pantsuits it drives me nuts and has since long before I started doing this work. This doesn't apply at busy upscale hotels, but if they're not very busy or they're more upper midrange it definitely applies. YMMV - I know my build is partially to blame (short, curvy) and possibly also my default body language.
I've found what helps is actually checking in looking exhausted, in very casual clothing, no makeup... I call it my Clark Kent drag. For some reason once the checkin staff has seen you as someone who couldn't possibly be an escort, when they see you stroll past in a pencil skirt and heels later, well, obviously you're just on your way to that client dinner you were so stressed about.I have status with multiple hotel chains, plus AAA membership for the discounts. The AAA discount isn't huge, usually 10%, but it definitely pays for itself over time. For some reason Priceline stresses me out... always afraid I'll get stuck with a stinker. Airbnb is nice in some cities - just read descriptions carefully.
I'm low volume so I don't stress about that aspect unless somebody manages to go through all my towels in one session.
On an outcall, walk in carrying something other than your purse. A bottle of water, a cup of coffee... for some reason this sends the hairy eyeballs elsewhere (if you did everything else right).
As far as the women who frequently book 1 night stays thing... I've definitely felt hints of that, particularly if I'm traveling a lot within a small local radius. This is where your corporate cover helps. This is also where I think having status with a chain, booking with your card, etc. works for you rather than against you because if you're staying 2 nights in DC, 1 night in Baltimore, 1 night in Richmond, and you're complaining about not wanting to drive across the state to wake up for an early meeting when you know you'll be flying to San Diego the next day... normal corporate traveler, possibly on the lazy side. I'd rather have the hotel staff remember me (I'm a redhead; I know I stand out), commiserate with me over my ridiculous travel schedule and be awesome than have them stare at me weirdly while I'm being discreet and evasive. Tried both, the first is the one that makes my life easier and better and results in them treating me like a person, not a walking suspicion on legs.
I've seen them think it and then dismiss it, but the single female traveling alone = hooker thing needs to stop for so many reasons. Whore stigma doesn't only affect whores; it crimps everyone's style.![]()

how do you handle the thing about making sure you get enough incall appointments that the hotel costs are worth it? I have no clue how to do that..

I know some girls just make themselves available and take calls all day.
I pre-book, so that before I even get the hotel, I already have an idea of what Im going to make and that it'll be worth it.
Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink!

I second pre-booking. I also never was the type to go to a city and hope that I will make money. Touring escorts should prebook. Anything else IMHO is just dumb. However, I will say that I know a girl that just packs her bags and goes to Vegas and comes back with sooo much money. Good for her but I have a family to take care of. That is not for me.
SabrinaM, I'm glad to see you here. Spot on post!

But don't you fear that you look unprofessional when you decide to cancel on the few guys that made appointments cause it turned out not to be enough?

These guys know that cancellations happen, and honestly it just fuels their fire to see you the next time they're in your city or you are in theirs.
I host incall at two different locations for a few days each in my city, and I don't book the hotel until I have enough appointments to make it worthwhile - but honestly, if you're getting a room for $150 and making more than that with one appointment, you are making a profit, though the margin is small. Usually I'll announce anywhere from one to three days at the location on my calendar, and I book the hotel the day before and plan it so I can do a late checkout or early checkin or whatever so I pay the minimum I have to and leave right as my appointments are done.
It just takes some quick on your feet thinking and planning to make it all work, and practice makes perfect![]()

I booked 4 star hotels in advance. Announced my tours a month in advance. This way EVERYONE knew I was coming into town. Just a few days is not enough notice. By the time I knew it within a week or two i was fully booked with travel expense and hotel paying for itself and then some. That's how to tour. Booking a room a day before your arrival is expensive especially when you're touring. I know how to work priceline and expedia and get the rooms for a low rate.

Yeah exactly, have to plan ahead. When I tour its actually a two step process...first about 6 weeks out, I start putting out notice that Im thinking about traveling to xyz city and the timeframe Im thinking of, and from that Ill already get a few guys who are interested in seeing me. Then a month out, Ill confirm my dates and start advertising that I will be in the city. I only see a certain amount of guys per day, so sometimes Ill be booked solid, but then Ill also let them know if my schedule frees up for whatever reason that Ill let them know. Either way, if I get a really good response from a city, then I put it on my "to do again" list.
Now, if when doing my preliminary notice I dont get that many guys writing me, then I dont bother with putting up ads to go there. And even if I do put my ads out, and then dont have enough confirmed dates within a week or so of my trip, then Ill write to the guys who did comfirm, and Im just honest with them, and say that I didnt get enough interest from the city and may have to cancel my trip. From doing that, Ive had guys book multi-hours or see me both days of my trip or something like that so that I would still go.
Ive also totally cancelled a trip, and guys who wanted to see me, happened to visit my area or made a point to so that they could see me anyway, since I was on their radar and they were really looking forward to seeing me. For me, the key is just in doing things in advance, and also making sure to let the guys know well enough in advance if there are any change of plans. Thats what keeps things professional.

I don't know about many cities and places BUT in major Northeast cities like NYC ( including L.I. and N.J. ), Philly and Boston ; DEFINITELY in Miami and SoFla; Definitely in San Fran and L.A. and in Vegas DEPENDING on the hotel, you will be left alone. Unless of course, you say or do something stupid.
If you check in looking like a "civilian", you will be left alone.
If you are quiet, low key and discreet , like a PROFESSIONAL escort is supposed to be, you will be left alone.

I know how it is, its expected when Im dressed nicely, but even when Im all grunged out its hard for me to go anywhere unnoticed....even worse if Im in a bad mood, I really think men love angry women, cause the worse my day, and the more crummy I loook, it seems the more guys are trying to talk to me. Plus Im very tall so blending in is hard.
Try wearing oversized clothes to hide your body shape, like even jeans a couple sizes too big can really make a girl look dumpy, yet at the same time not totally unkempt. Maybe pull your hair back in a bun and have glasses to wear too... I also always carry my computer bag with me, even though I dont actually carry my computer in it, its a really nice leather bag that screams professional, and it makes me look business-like. Ill even give you a fashion tipPlaid... Now I love plaid...makes me feel happy inside to wear so many colours of the rainbow at once lol But yeah, its definitely the grunge/geek in me that loves it so much. But whenever I wear plaid, I get less comments about how pretty I am, and more comments on wow! plaid!
Its true though, the whole idea that if an attractive woman is traveling alone then shes looked at that way. Ive traveled by myself a lot through the years...and so many times too, went to visit friends who were staying at hotels, and looking back Im now realizing OHHHHHH no wonder why people looked at me like that! It never crossed my mind that anyone thought I was an escort...I just thought they were admiring how fiiine I lookedoh well...

teaze-- I would still challenge that.
I've had it happen twice where someone else's hotel bar tab got applied to my room. I asked about it, and had to call their financial department, and got it taken off.
That's ridiculous and it was probably someone's alcohol tab from another room.
Ungoogle yourself:
Also, now offering phone sexins!

Only thing that comes to mind with the sweats, is that Ive heard in off time strippers dress really comfy and lend themselves to sweats! The only reason I even say that is cause of stuff Ive read on here, esp the "you know youre a stripper when..." threadSo yeah, maybe they automatically think stripper/escort even though you dont look anything like either. lol Try maybe ditching the sweats for mid-30's soccer mom garb. Get you some high waist Levis

Im cracking me up here....
With that guy....that happens to me all the time with my overnight/multi-day guys... Im a horrible communicator anyway, so it comes easy to me to just not answer my phone or email... I usually wait a couple days or a week...or soAnd then write them all perky "Hiiii! So great to hear from you! blah blah blah, ooh btw I saw you called me, I never really have my phone on unless Im expecting a call or for confirm on the day we meet, but I cant wait to see you again!!!! xoxoxoxox ~ Meee!" lol Its enough that they are happy to see me reply, that Im happy to hear from them, explain away why I never answer their calls, and it sort of trains them in a way to not expect to hear back from me anytime soon...plus they know to get my undivided attention, they actually have to see me.
