Default Share your opinion of Payoneer please

I recently had the most unfortunate experience of having to deal with their "customer support" and am wondering without going into detail if others are having or have had similar experiences? I am at the point where I have nothing good to say about them and I am restraining myself from saying how I really feel but trust me when I say, it's right there on the surface and I could explode into a volcano of verbal bashing and set free my anger with them at any moment.

I have been given conflicting information from one rep to the next. I have been given false information. I have been flat out lied to. I have been told they are resolving my issue when they actually aren't. I have received hostile responses from reps (and managers). I have experienced reps that make decisions based on emotions as opposed to business. I have even experienced one rep who threatened to shut my account down for continuing to demand a resolution and expressing my dissatisfaction with the way they have treated me, the way they have treated my account and the lack of resolution and support with my account.

I'm under the impression that they believe they have more staying power than they do, sorta like, they got a lot of accounts quickly and have that almighty powerful feeling and fail to realize how quickly it all goes away when you step on one too many toe. I'm going to be closing my account based on the way things played out for me. I feel they do not deserve my business and would rather wait for snail mail to deliver my payment than to continue paying them their ridiculous fee's for such horrible service and (or) have to deal with the morons again!

Honestly I think they are alright. So-so. I like the convenience of having my money instantly. In Canada the banks take a few days (5-10 business days) to process a US check. Check cashing places up here charge too much fees and are known to give a bad conversion fee. Yesterday I cashed a $120 US check at a check place and they charged me nearly $20 by the time it was all said and done.

What I don't like is the fact that they say it can take 2 months to get a payoneer card to you if you live in Canada....2 months and they are only in NY!

I love the fact we have a payoneer rep on the forum , it may not seem like such a big deal , but it's saved my panic several times over . Nissim is amazingly speeedy , polite and funny !!! Any issues I've had with payoneer have been resolved by Nissim within a matter of hours ! Service like this puts my mind at ease and puts my fees into perspective.

I got my payoneer card within days. literally. and I live on the west coast of canada :p
I think the 2 months thing, might just be precautionary.

Anyways, besides the fees, which kind of suck, its all really give and take
the conveinance factor, and such on. I like my money there the day I'm paid.
Also my bank asks all these questions I don't wanna answer when I deposit cheques from SM, or wherever.
so payoneer lets me avoid all those hassles as well.
And if I really wanna lower the whole fee process I just withdraw the money with that one time fee
and put it in my real bank account.

And honestly, the customer service on my end has been quite acceptable.

Yeah, I got my Payoneer card in about a week and I live in western Canada.

I love the convenience of Payoneer but I hate the fees. I added it up and I spend $50+ in fees each month, plus when you add in currency exchange, it eats a lot of my income up.

I should probably mention that, by one means or another, ALL banks and financial institutions ( including credit / debit card companies ) wind up having to pay a fee for electronically transferring US dollars across the US border to/from a foreign country. Thus payment processing services, like banks and other financial institutions, also wind up passing on this cross-border electronic transfer fee to the 'customer'.

Paper checks aren't subject to this electronic transfer fee. Instead, they are subject to local bank 'temporary freeze' requirements, delayed transaction processing, etc. on top of inserting a human bank teller in the loop who is obligated to ask questions about the source of foreign funds and the person attempting to deposit the foreign funds. There's no such thing as a 'free lunch' !

whenever i have problems i email Nissim, dont even call in support. I've messaged him once @ 4am and receieved a response within 15 minutes. Totally unexpected ! Yes there fees are a bit much, but I think there support is awesome. I mean what other payment processor has even taken the time to come to our forum, be active, and offer support to our members? As awesome as epassporte was i dont remember ever seeing them on here. Just sayin'

The only case that I wouldn't refer payoneer to other camgirl, is if I find a cheaper way to receive payouts. For now it is my favorite.

Nissim gives superior and excellent customer service. Payoneer is also great for direct deposit, and then you can avoid the fees by waiting 2-3 business days to have it put in your bank. All you pay is 3 dollars 'bank transfer' fee in place of the 5 dollar load fee, and from there on it is all in your bank. (Not to mention that your bank statements say "Payoneer ACH Deposit" instead of "Streamates" or whatever). I had to stop paper checks because my bank was being all snooty about, Cyrpus?". . along with the amount of the check, and my 'camgirl errands' look (i.e.- camming make-up, fuchia lipstick, fake eyelashes, and sweats). . made them stare at me like I was some crackhead criminal. Lol.

I love payoneer. Support was always fast and helpful and Nissim is a treasure himself.

The fees are nothing new to me, 2.75 for ANY ATM? Well with my regular bank card, I have to find an ATM that belongs to the bank which issued my card, or it costs nearly the same as payoneer (otherwise it costs half of it, and once per month it's free).

Conversion rate is still better than what I got with checks. + Checks over here take like 3 weeks to cash + seriously ridiculus fees. Like 20-30-40 $ each check, it depends.

Loading fees? Honestly, I'd never save it up. I'd buy more chewing gum, another pair of socks, extra bag at shopping or other tiny useless stuffs on it.

Have it sent to my bank directly? No go over here. I have to open a dollar based bank account then, and pay the high fees for that. Over here it looks like this: I open the dollar based account, I get my money to it. When I need cash, I transfer my dollars to my normal account, they charge me a base fee, + some % of the amount of money converted, and THEN they charge me again at the ATM when I try to get the money out of it. I bet it's even more expensieve than payoneer.

They are also very fast with loading too. Most of my loads arrived in 20 mintues, but lately in 2 minutes.

3 weeks vs 2 minutes? Sitting on my ass at home clicking "instant load" vs pilgrimage to the bank waiting in the line while paying for parking? How cool is that?

Shopping has no fees, and I love to shop online on foreign websites, and I love to pay in dollars, so again there I save money, cause my bank used horrible conversion rates for my online shoppings.

I just love them. I only regret that I started to use them so late, I was strugling with checks before.

I've had a couple customer service interactions (on the phone) where it left me confused. Thankfully I remembered everyone saying that we could message Nissim. It was the best advice ever! Talk about fast, friendly, and accurate service that is always provided! So yes I would recommend Payoneer to friends and family.

I am happy with Payoneer, and I think Nissim-Payoneer is very polite, helpful, and professional.

I know the fees are annoying, which is why I stopped making a bunch of ATM withdrawals every time I got paid. I keep as much money on the card as possible, and when I need to withdraw money I use the 'cashback' option at Dollar Tree, which is cheaper.

I do realize that because of that ePassporte shit that happened a while ago, some models might be nervous about leaving money on a card, so they may choose to withdraw their money as soon as it's loaded onto the card (but again, you'll have to deal with fees every time you make another ATM withdrawal).

I recently changed all of my passwords because of a computer virus and wouldnt you know it...I forgot the new password I gave to my payoneer account. I tried to retrieve it and when I filled out the security questions to verify my account I gave the wrong phone number (must be an old one I used when I opened it) anyway they now want me to jump through hoops and name my last few transactions and where they were and for how much, etc. plus about 5 other steps. I dont have that info...I usually look up my transactions online and I cant access that.
I can answer all other security questions so I'm not sure why the different phone number is causing such a problem. It's not a big deal, just an annoyance but now that I look back at all the fees for loading and using the card I think I'm going to try out my alertpay account. When I used that before it was only .50 to transfer money to my bank account. Much cheaper for me in the long run.

Would like to say though that Nissam has been a huge help to me anytime I needed it. Always polite and professional.

I wouldn't suggest Payoneer to a camgirl that has their own bank account. The fees are just not worth it, in my opinion. If it's your only option as a cam girl, it's not THAT bad, but having to pay a percent of every transaction is just insane.

Also, with the epassporte thing that happened, I don't want to risk it again with these types of "e-wallet" things.

YES!! This is one of the things that irritates me most! Between Payoneer and ATM fee's I am charged as much as $320 a month to get my money. My bank only allows $600 increments so in order to get my money off the card I have to make multiple withdrawals. I do pay my bills online to avoid some of the fee's but to move my money off the card and into my account is just ridiculous. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with paper checks. It's just way too pricey.

I personally love Payoneer, If I had Nissim's home address he would be on my christmas card list.

I have worked with many processors over the years and Payoneers is the only one I believe in, I cant see any flaw in their setup and dont see them losing business anytime soon.

I too deal with many customers, some people have different views on it but if I get a "not so nice/demanding" email from a customer I give as good as I get. Respect is only given if respect is shown. In this case above we dont know the full details of the convo's between support and the member so its anyone's guess if the response the member got was over the top or not. People seem to panic more on the internet than in real life when it comes to issues.

In regards to the fee's, we are all in business, these are business transaction fee's, I would hazard a guess most people here are avoiding fee's (unintentionally) by using a personal bank account to get their money paid into.

Mastercard also have their fingers in the pie for ATM transactions, its not all down to Payoneer.

I think there is alot of people in this world not cut out for business, or who start camming without the knowledge they are actually in business now and should learn how the business world works.

If you wish to start up your own business and become self employed then you will have to deal with the fee's, as Melonie says, theres no such thing as a free lunch.

Nissem asked me to post the facts so that everyone on camming connection is clear what happened, so incoming wall..

My girlfriends and I ordered take-out before going out and hitting the town. Rather than putting my card back in my wallet I threw it into the bottom of the bag without thinking. I was rushing because I was excited about having a night out. It's been 8 months since I have been able to get out and interact with someone other than a 4 year old and was absolutely thrilled. In the excitement my Payoneer card ended up in my kitchen trash bin.

At the end of the night I went to get my card to pay for a taxi and realized I didn't have my card. I wasn't at all worried about it because the only people who lived there (my daughter and myself) were not home and there was absolutely no chance of the card being moved from it's spot. I looked up payoneer from my phone and called to ask if they could assist me with paying the taxi driver since I did not have the card in hand. I made it very clear I was NOT calling to report the card lost or stolen because it WASN'T lost or stolen.

Immediately the Payoneer rep SHUT MY ACCOUNT DOWN. She blocked the account and disabled the card.

My jaw literally dropped. Here I stand at 3am in a parking lot calling for help and she is doing what? Not only that, I had just made a large purchase and had no funds in my regular bank account and here we are going into a 3 day weekend and she's blocking all access to the only money we have. I literally BEGGED the rep not to do this. I again told her the card was not lost, the card was not stolen and I was not calling to make any such report. I told her, I had a paycheck floating in, I have bills to pay and have to put food on the table. "Please don't do this!!" Again I stated, "I'm just calling so I can get a taxi ride home"!

I asked the rep to transfer me to a supervisor. The supervisor got on the line and asked me if I was willing to sign something to release Payoneer from all responsibility in the event someone not authorized to use the card made transactions and I said YES and PLEASE, just don't shut the card off! Unfortunately for me, even AFTER I stated YES she blocked the account and disabled the card anyway. Mind you, it takes a full week to get a new card between getting the new card made, shipped and delivered.

It was at THIS time I became upset and in my opinion justifiably upset. I said, "what the fuck? Are you fucking serious? Tell me you aren't fucking serious right now!! What the fuck are you doing?!?!" I'm pretty sure there were even a few more expletives to follow, however, as I stated to Nissem, yes, I do recognize that my cursing was not exactly helpful in my situation, however, no one in their right mind is going to lose their temper without some kind of provocation or having been pushed beyond their limits. I was on the phone begging and pleading with them for close to TWO HOURS not to turn the card off. I think that TWO HOURS is pretty darn patient. Most people would be vocal after 2 minutes! I let it go on for 2 hours before I raised my voice and expressed my anger.

What I experienced was a situation that was completely benign and suddenly became extreme. I contacted Payoneer for help and they turned it into a crisis. ON TOP OF THAT, Payoneer FORCED me to pay an additional $35 for the new card + shipping. Then they followed all of the above up with an e-mail threatening to completely shut my account down permanently for, "unfriendly" behavior. My what? I was calling for assistance and you just shook me upside down!!

As it turns out we did get through the week thanks to the generosity of a good friend.

The reason I ended up here asking other cam performers about their experiences with payoneer is because after the new account had been set up (a full week after the fact) I received an e-mail confirming the resolution of the issue along with the activation of the new card but right along with it ws ANOTHER threat of having my account completely closed. It left me baffled!

In the end, Nissem did have the $35 credited back to my account, but not without adding this irrelevant bit that had nothing to do with my situation (For the gazillionth time, my card was never lost or stolen and the card numbers were never placed in jeopardy:

    - In regards to security, I just want to make it clear that Payoneer is required to follow strict procedures and regulations, as set by MasterCard and our regulators. If a card is reported misplaced, even if the card holder believes they know where it is, we are required to take immediate action and block the card (in order to ensure the financial security of Payoneer and our cardholders). I understand that this may be frustrating at times, however please understand that these procedures are put in place to protect you.

    - Your prepaid card number is highly sensitive information and even we do not have access to view the full card number. The only way to view the card number is to physically have access to the card, and for security reasons we highly advise that you never give out or request to receive the full card number using anything but a secured online payment form.

    - Our customer support department is here to assist you in all matters pertaining to your Payoneer account. We understand that specific situations may be urgent and call for immediate action, however please realize that it is within our best interests to provide you with the best support possible. In the future, we ask that you keep your correspondence with our customer support team professional and relevant, and refrain from using offensive and uncalled for language/behavior. The use of such language and communication is simply not productive and prohibits us from attempting to resolve your issue. We have spoken with your program (Streamates) and if this continues to be an issue in the future, and if we are unable to professionally communicate with you, we may ask that you consider an alternate payment solution. This is not something that we'd like to see happen, and I do hope that we will not be required to do so.

Which means to me that indeed I will be changing my payment method. I don't feel good about paying such high fee's to this service and their ever looming threats they continue to throw around just makes me even more angry. In fact, I'm pretty sure after this post Payoneer will more than likely slam their iron hammer down and close the account for my, "unfriendly" behavior in this thread.

It's all good. I think the poll above which reflects that approximately 50% of the camgirls who have been exposed to Payoneer would not refer their service to another camgirl sends a clear message. That in itself speaks louder than anything in this post could possibly express.

I understand that each banking institution has policies to protect their money however when the card isn't lost or stolen and the holder is absolving that institution by agreeing to sign a paper stating they are absolved then this policy is not applicable. There is a factor they missed here and it's called the HUMAN FACTOR!

    * and just for the record, it's now 2 weeks later and the supervisor never e-mailed me the form which stated that I the verified card holder am not reporting my card lost or stolen. I received all of her other e-mails, but no form. I honestly don't believe she ever made the attempt.

    Again, thanks ladies.
