Okay, when I went to my usual club earlier today, my ATF was not there, and there didn't seem to be anything interesting going on, so I decided to head out and check out a different club that I had never visited. When I got there, I saw a dancer that "clicked" with me and we went to VIP. 15 dances later she was asking me to take her out to dinner. I didn't answer, mostly because I didn't expect her to want to take it to that level after only 15 dances, but also because I wanted her to expound on it a bit more. After the last dance she said what I was waiting for: "If you're willing to see me outside the club would that be fine?" That convinced me beyond any reasonable doubt that it was a date for money and money only (I already knew it was, I just needed confirmation).
The question I have is not about her intentions (which are known to me already), it's about mine. Keep in mind that it was my first visit to this club, and therefore my first session with this dancer. She does not know that this is not an often occurrence for me to just blow a few hundred in VIP (maybe bi weekly). I don't want to lead her on and waste her time, but it is very tempting to do so. The Dark Side of SC customers is beckoning.
So the question I have is how do I tell her I don't have the money she thinks I have without sounding like a douchebag? "Look, I appreciate the offer, but I'm not in a position right now for that kind of activity. Thanks though." Something like that?
