Do webcam companies not give proof of employment?

What site you're working on? You're talking about the 1099's?

i signed up with a studio on accident but its for streamate, and yes the 1099's

Yeah some sites don't send 1099's.

is it the studio that wont send one or streamate itself?
There are lots of old threads regarding this topic... Take the time to use the search function bb.

technically speaking, webcam hosts engage independent contractor business persons, they do not 'hire' employees. Thus, in the USA, the only fully verifiable official proof of income you can provide to a prospective lender ( which includes landlords ) is a copy of your 2011 tax return + 1099's. Some lenders will accept not fully verifiable business bank account statements showing regular deposits of payments from webcam hosts, plus regular withdrawls to 'pay yourself' ... which of course reduces the 'time lag'.

Pretty much what Melonie said. There is no proof of employment from the sites we work on, because we don't work FOR them at all. We work for ourselves, and while it may be a pain in the ass for proving income, anyone who won't take a bank statement showing regular income is anal and paranoid. :p I do kid, but you see what we mean I hope.

You can thank the US congress ... and their new borrower income verification requirements imposed on US financial institutions as a result of the subprime mortgage debacle ... for this. If you're dealing with a major bank, a loan company, or a 'corporate' landlord, they're going to follow the new income verification requirements. 'Private' lenders and landlords have more flexibility in this regard, and will usually accept business account bank statements.anyone who won't take a bank statement showing regular income is anal and paranoid
The reason that the government requirements don't accept bank statements is that there isn't any way to positively identify that the 'deposits' made actually came from a lasting income source ( as opposed to borrowed money, gifted money, etc).

1.) Ask for a 3 or 6 months lease (you may pay more but it'll be worth it). 2.) Give 3 - 6+ months rent upfront.

I put money into paypal throughout the month using greendot, and hardly use my bank for anything at all. I just got into my apartment a couple months ago, corporate lease, and they accepted 3m worth of paypal statements. I was prepared to pay an extra months rent or something, but didnt have to...just the standard first/last/security that they do around here. And he told me when I gave it to him not to worry..that they just want to see that I have proof that money is coming in.
Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink!
Lots of people are self-employed. Just say you're in internet sales, or affiliate marketing, etc. Research it a little so you can bluff it. I would never recommend telling someone you're renting from you are in the sex industry. Be careful who you tell because that can get very creepy, very fast.
Most apt. managers don't care that much about prying into your work history. They care about if you can give them money, if you have a good rental history, and sometimes your credit score.
