Angry Leaving G-Mail For Privacy issues

Google has gone way too far in changing their privacy policy - has anyone noticed? It's not the old Google we all loved, it's turned into a weird tracking system.

I've just had it with Gmail and I need to switch to something better.

Google is constantly saving my searches because I am logged into Gmail. Recently I clicked on something on a google site and BAM there we have my entire surfing history since they started the changes. I don't want them to have my entire browser history! I don't want them to track what movies I watch on Youtube!

The location tracking is really creepy as well. If I take a trip I don't need everyone to know where I am, and I had to get rid of my android phone because it was constantly showing my location. It got to the point that if I was going somewhere private, I would leave my phone at home.

And when I discuss something with someone in email, suddenly I am seeing ads tailored to the kind to things I've discussed.

It's just creepy anymore, is anyone else noticing this?

    Agreed!

Add FaceBook to the Gmail rant! They both seem to be constantly revising their "privacy policy" and exploiting their users!

Good to know! Had no idea about that. Turning off location services setting on phone. If you search phone settings your phone might let you do that. But yes I guess staying logged out of gmail helps

It just keeps getting worse and worse, yeah.
Anyway, I use Google Chrome for all my "porn" stuff and Firefox for my "normal" stuff. It helps.

Use a second browser and give google fake info. Use a throwaway email address. Delete the entire installation and all extras, occasionally ad start over.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.

Anyone can sniff your packets unless you are using a proxy. You're worried about google? What about flash cookies?

Turn off Web History by going to and turning it off. Also - use incognito mode in Chrome (ctrl+shift+N)-> brings up a non-tracked no cookies window that doesn't save any history to the computer. Chrome also does profiles so you can have two completely seperate accounts with own histories, saved passwords etc that you don't have to keep switching.
