Default Dance critique s'il vous plait?

I made a video of me dancing, I've already been told a couple of things I can work on but I wanna get as many opinions for ways to improve as I can. So can people watch and gimme feedback please?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MG-jPagV4TA

It might get removed soon. For some reason I thought it would be a good idea to get my tits out...

I think you look a little uncomfortable at first, maybe like you're wearing new shoes you're not used to yet? I'd slow down on the transitions a little bit too, it looks a bit like you're hurrying to get into the "next move". You have some good moves, though ^^ Fun to watch.

It's all very awkward and stiff... you should focus on trying to feel more relaxed and sexy.
Over-all... it's very reminiscent of one of those strip tease videos... which... is more... awkwardly dramatic than hot. Maybe you should search for videos of other strippers and try and pick up some moves from them.

I like that you take your time doing poses, shows confidence in showing off your body.

I think you need a 'walk', or little dance step to move around the pole in a neat looking way. You'll develop your own style after some time getting used to working the pole to songs that make you feel good, but some twirls and things make it interesting even when you're not doing much. Like how Leigh Ann starts off in her vids http://youtu.be/51ARTvYHiis

I mostly learnt to make my dancing look like dancing from watching the other dancers and picking up bit and pieces. If there are any classes that have a bit of focus on how to link moves and dance, rather than fitness based, the odd lesson might help.

It's pretty gawky and stiff, like most newbie dancers. It takes time.

Good enough to start out with. You're going to get a lot better if you stick with it. Like the other girls said - it seems stiff and forced, like a newbie dancer, but everyone has that phase. Keep practicing. You'll gain rhythm and flow and get that characteristic 'stripper swagger'.

    I love your body!!!!

I think you need more lower-back arch. And when you take off pieces of clothing, LOOK your audience in the eye, in a teasy, delicious way. Otherwise, it just looks like you're pulling your dress down to take a shit, honestly. :-( (Sorry if that was crass... but you wanted feedback. Please dont hate me.)

You have a body that a lot of girls would kill for.... once you figure out how to display it to its best potential, I think you'll be cleaning up. :-)

^This...if you arched your lower back and had a better posture over all it would make a huge difference, when you dance slow it looks very nice, remember it is better to do it slow and take your time than being in a hurry.

I second the feedback of awkward. Along with arching your back you need to point your toes also I'm going to assume that space was kind of small for you but extending your body on pole tricks would be a lot better. Another idea would be try practicing taking off your clothes sexier that was also an awkward moment. At 2:05 you don't need to open your legs so wide it was too hard for you to get out of the position. Practice getting up from the ground too at most points you seemed very unstable like I was scared you were going to hit that dresser. On a non dance related note, your shoes and dress were cute, but that thong did nothing for you it cut your vagina at a weird angle and it made your but look very square and flat and you have a nice butt so its definitively the thong. I know that seems really objective but i want everyone to do there best on stage and I feel like only my honest opinion could do that. Oh one more thing, work your legs they are one of your best assets and a lot of men love long legs.

So I guess it might be just a little bit awkward? Thanks for the feedback, ladies! I spent 8 hours practicing yesterday, I'm gonna try and get a new and improved video up sometime tonight!

That was so much better except your walk is crouchy. Don't bend your legs like that when walking, like I said before they are your selling point so make the look good. That thong makes your bum look a lot better and good job making eye contact with the crowd. You did forget to arch your back though but over all I can see the improvement.

Your tricks are good, with a practice and a little refining they will be perfect. Comments about arching your back a little more are definitely right. I think it's because you're tall. A lot of tall people, especially girls, feel awkwardly tall in their youth and try to literally shorten themselves by hunching their shoulders forward. It's really uncomfortable to hunch your shoulders forward and arch your back (try it now, see?) which is probably why you don't do it so much. This might not be true for you because I know you love your height but just try to push your shoulders back and stick your bum out and the arching will come naturally.
I think it would be helpful for you to think about angles: think about what we, as the audience, can see, and which angles will look best from our POV.
    Pizza pole party soon!

Point your toes!! Also, you are not an appendage of the pole. It is perfectly ok to let go of the pole and dance away from it. If you're uncomfortable dancing standing up in your heels, do some sexy floor moves. Own your height! Be confident in it. I think a basic yoga class or a sensual dance class like belly dancing or a swag class would be good for you.

I like your back hook spin, it was smooth. And this thong is a better choice for you.

I would DIE to be that tall! This goes back to owning your height. You don't even need 7 in heels! I envy that you don't have to wear sky scraping heels. And it's so much easier to dance. Take advantage of this. You are lucky.

Whenever I wear a strapless dress, I'll fold it down into a skirt for getting topless like you did, but when it comes time to get nude, I'll pull the dress off over my head instead, generally while kneeling, maybe with my front facing away from the audience so I can turn my head and shoot them a cheeky grin. I find it looks 10x sexier than awkwardly trying to pull it down my legs and step out of it, especially since it's so easy for it to get stuck on the shoes!

Your walking is very awkward. You are bending your knees too much. It seems like your thinking about it too much. First you need to feel good in your skin. There is a tall girl at my club and she is always making good money. You just have to own it

I admire your courage in posting videos!

You do look like you're trying a bit too hard...and you need to loosen up in your hip region. A lot of thin and a lot of athletic women have a stiffness about them that isn't super sexy. Can you maybe take yoga, or a bellydancing class? Or even just stand in front of the mirror and work on moving your ribcage independently of the rest of your body. Work on doing the body wave (not because you're actually going to try to do that as a move, but to help loosen yourself up).

I would also focus way less on trying to do moves and way more on just casually moving around the pole. Master the basics before you move on to pole moves. Do you have a big mirror so you can see what you look like as you're moving?

Keep your chin up! The best way to improve is to ask for feedback...so seriously...good for you!

The thing that struck me watching your videos is that, while you body is fucking GORGEOUS, you don't seem to have alot of muscle strength. I'm not saying you need to bulk up, at all, but a bit of yoga or swimming and definitely some core exercizes will really help give you the strength to dance more smoothly, and maintain an even pace throughout your transitions. The stronger you are (and you can strengthen your muscles without putting on extra bulk), the easier it is to maintain good posture and really work the pole. Basically you'll have much better control over the way you move your body.

Try to master the "I'm gonna move as slowly as I wanna move, and you're just gonna have to wait" look.

    Try to look laaaaaaaaaazy.

I also applaud ur courage for posting this The second vid definitely shows improvement, ur pole moves are more controlled which is wonderful and a lot more safe to do. It looks a lot more sensual as well, and ur bod is definitely killer! So practice, arching ur back, and taking ur time will definitely make ur dancing much better! Check out some YT vids for inspiration. I always like to look at DirdyBirdy's and Veena's channel for moves and Leigh Ann's as well (love her and her hair flips lol )
