Ok, so after a check went missing in the mail, I am thinking I should switch to getting paid by payoneer. I've done my research on the forum, but I couldn't find an answer to this question (maybe I didn't look hard enough...I suck with the search function sometimes!).
Is there a delay in payments when you sign up?
I'm with SM. If I go to my payment options, and switch it to payoneer, I have to sign up for payoneer. (I haven't clicked it yet, because I don't want to get into a situation where payments are affected, but I am assuming that when you do that, it will link you through to the website to sign up, or do you have to do that separately?) But in another thread, OJenni mentioned that it took 2 MONTHS to get her card to her in Canada. Well, I'm in Canada too, and I can't wait two freaking months without getting paid - this is my only job!!!
So how does that work? Do you edit your payment option to payoneer to do the sign up, and then switch it back to check until your card arrives, at which point, you would switch it back again? Or do you have to sign up and not get payments until your card arrives? I would really like to switch, at this point, but I can't really afford to miss a single check - we just moved, I just paid my taxes, and that tapped me OUT!
