Tonight, I sat with a guy who looked familiar to me and I knew i'd seen him in there before, but didn't remember much else about him. Suddenly, a girl I work with shoves past me and sarcastically says, "excuse me!" And hangs all over this guy. Oh! Now I remember! She did the same thing last week...abandoned a table until I went to sit, and then got an attitude about it. Same girl. Same guy. She waves me off, with a smug smile on her face and I tell her, "you know, the sarcasm really isn't necessary; I didn't know you were sitting here." And walked away to the DR to cool down.
A few minutes later, she comes and gets in my face, screaming about me "stealing her customer," until I finally told her "you're right, but you didn't have to be such a stupid cunt about it."
Long story short, she tries to hit me and I walk off. I asked to go home, but my awesome boss sent her home and suspended her for a week, because she's always fucked up and starting fights. She's very cocky, especially when she's drunk, and will demand that girls literally stay out of her way....or she'll push them. The other night, she was screaming at a new dancer to "learn her place because I run this club." The poor girl accidently tripped over one of the bitch's feet, which she had extended into the pathway. Anywaaay....
Ladies............we do not OWN customers. I am SO tired of hearing this "he's my customer" bullshit! No, he's not yours, or mine, or anyones. If he wanted her, he could've sent me away. Contrary to popular belief, most of us are too busy to wait for you to get up and go on stage, and then jump onto your big spender.
Every single night, I look for an empty table, sit there and talk to customers. I have very little or no idea who is sitting with who all night. If you get up, you are technically sacrificing that seat. It's just that MOST girls, like myself, know when to politely excuse themselves.
I have been NOTHING but nice to every girl in there. Most of them are very friendly toward me, and if not, we simply pass each other without acknowledgement. I do NOT have any problems with anyone in there....well, until this bitch came along. I'm usually very passive and will almost always brush it off and move along. But I have to say, I'm glad I didn't just roll over and take it.
This has to be the thing that irritates me more than anything else ITC.
If you move your feet, you lose your seat!!!
