    Default Self review TER

I'm not I inquiring about ethics and I've already read the disclaimer stating that reviews can't be made from the providers computer which can be avoided with other peoples computers/ different accounts. What I am asking for is honest opinions and experiences briefly using this tactic for breaking into the business. I'm also imPlying that I'd be honest in them be they would match my future real reviews. Please god don't flame me lol

I think the problem with that would be that if the review wasn't written from a hobbyist account that had a lengthy posting history, and several other legit reviews, other guys would think it seemed shady. A brand new provider having all her first reviews come from brand new hobbyists just screams fake. I guess if it did work it could really help your business, but if the guys suspected *anything*, it could seriously harm your business. Anyone who suspected anything would likely presume it was to cover for being a crappy provider, or worse, that you were LE. Apparently they have "secret" boards where the guys talk about this kind of speculation and providers never get to access what is said.

There are guys on there who stay up at night trying to identify "self-reviews". If you get caught at it , you will be banned from the site and nobody would be able to post a real review for you. Just the accusation alone of "self reviewing" could seriously hurt your biz.

Bottom line ? DON'T do it ! Be patient and pay your dues. The REAL reviews will come in time.

Correct on all counts. There is a "Reviewers Only" Board on TER. Self posted reviews is a major topic.

I agree with all of the above.

Think of it this way....what you are thinking of doing is not new, plenty other women have tried the same thing and got caught doing it, and their rep is for ish after that. Better to wait it out and get some legitimate reviews than risk your account and your reputation.

i have some reviews made by first timers who don't post them on the local reviews boards but will post them on TER instead because there is no discussion after the review. and I know of some providers who have made reviews of themselves to validate themselves enough to get VIP access on TER.

well, if she's going to try it, I would say don't ever access TER from your home-- from your account or your fake account.

And, if she's going to do this, better that she do it when she can easily change her name and appear again, rather than down the road when she already has a name and reputation to tank (though you wouldn't need fake reviews then.)

    One more thing--

this only works if you don't show your face or tattoos in your pictures. If you have anything super identifying, then changing your name is not going to help.

and, from an ethics point of view, I would take down your first review once you have 2-3 real reviews.

Read A LOT of reviews so you can get the hang of what a hobbyist would and would not say.

It's tacky to do. Just simply tacky. I'm too scared of being banned from TER to try this myself but whatever floats your boat.

Also, be aware that TER will quite often "hold back" new reviews by new reviewers of new providers until the provider gets some reviews from established members. It's very possible that your self-review would not get posted even if you manage to get it past TER's screening software.

Participate in your local board on TER, post your ad once a week and be patient. Not every provider depends on or even bothers with TER but it's not a tool that you want to be unavailable to you.

That true...totally forgot about that. My first review didnt show up for the longest, it wasnt until my 2nd review which was by a member who had a lot of reviews on TER already that the first one suddenly showed up. And when I got my next one, it took about a week before it showed up..and I know the guy wasnt just being lame, he was all excited and eager for me to see it and kept writing TER to find out why it wasnt showing up. It wasnt til after my 3rd review that they started showing up in good time, like after about 2-3 days.

Um if it's posted from your computer, TER is going to assume it's you that did it. 90% of the time - maybe 98% of the time , they're right. TER has one hell of a software. I would never attempt it.

Also, if you get caught doing it, not only will you have to change your escort name/website/email addie and start over, but you can't use ANY of the same pictures every again, whether you show your face or not. The guys routinely use TinyEye to see if someone's pictures are online anywhere else, or ever have been. You'd need all new pics or they'd simply check the pics and see they were used before for a girl who faked her own reviews.

I totally don't want to anymore. Awesome info. Thanks to all of you for understanding that I want to do this to start my business and to support my family. Not to be a shady bitch stealing business with fake/ not true to life reviews

About giving a discount....A little shady still but may not be a bad idea. Another idea, finding guys at the club with established accounts and giving a free dance if they post one for me. I only want like 2 just to show I'm real and I really am who I say I am

^^ I've noticed that when guys email me asking if I have any reviews (I'm new to this too) I'd say something like 'I don't, but maybe you can be my first " and they get all like, excited or something about the chance to be like my white knight and write my first reviews. I don't think I'll ever understand men lol

It's alot to get started in terms of this whole reviewing process (I'm going thru it now) but I was told to pay my dues and the reviews would come. Not what I really wanted to hear but it was sound advice none the less.

How many guys are going to write a bad review after they've gotten a discount? C'mon kinda hard to fool people that have already been there and done that. Discounts for reviews are the same as Discounts for good reviews.
The girl is usually made fun of in the men's lounge. That is why it's best to have an introductory rate than discounting your packages for reviews.

Discounts in exchange for reviews (regardless of how "good" the review or not) is considered buying reviews and advertising such is a TER no-no. Yes, ladies have been delisted for doing it.

Yes, if an escort is caught or even just heavily suspected of self-posting a review her entire review profile will be removed from TER.

Yes, delisted as in her profile is taken down and she is banned from TER. The ban is almost always permanent. Even if the lady changes her name & gets new pics, guys are VERY good at linking the two personas, so the new persona gets banned too. TER is surprisingly good at keeping banned people banned.

TER also has a policy against even discussing banned/delisted providers, which means no one can ask about them on the forums, either.

It's better to just earn real reviews. It's not hard to get guys to write one - just ask them.
