Ive seen younger girls remove them and they go back to a decent shape. At first they look deflated but then seem to rebound. But I think if by older you mean 60+ you would probably have to have a lift to make the shape nice again because of years of the implant causing sag in the skin and plus at that age your skin is not going to be as elastic. I plan on removing mine around 70 and I figure at that age I probably will only care that they look ok with clothes on. I mean who even knows if my husband (or me) will even still be alive lol. But I plan on being hot until well into my 60s so until then implants it is!

Also depending on what age you are thinking by then fat transfer technology might be way better so filling that space with fat which your likely to have when you are old will probably be a possibility. It is now, but I mean techniques may have improved to provide a great result.

Agreed that if skin elasticity is still good that implant removal won't be a big deal. If you wait until your 60 or 70 to have them removed, and your skin elasticity isn't so good, the doctor may wind up having to remove excess skin via a 'lift'. This may result in some scarring, but hey at that age you're probably not going to be 'displaying' your naked boobs all that much ! And as Jessie pointed out, a whole lot of new options may be introduced over the course of the next 20-30-40 years !!!

Out of interest, why do you all want to remove them?

I was surfing a couple of XL's PS sites and there was a 71 year old woman with XL implants. They looked pretty damn good! I think it was either Pousti or Revis.

I was wondering the same question after I heard about that one girl from Glee getting implants and then months later, removing them.

I love that I know who you're talking about, without the aid of google.

I had implants for 2 years then removed it last year (August 2011). My breasts looked flat at first but now they look the same as they did before implants ever got put in them, same size and everything.

Are you the one that tarted that thread with pica about few months ago? Whoever that was her boobs looked amazing after( better than with them) can someone post a link to it? I'd get mine out know( since I have a bottomed out one now) but I've had mine 13 years and want to dance at least 3 more years and don't know how good mine will look.

^ How old are you? Maybe its just the age of the guys you talk to. Also maybe the area you live in? Do many girls have them there? Where I live a lot of people have them so its not really a novelty.

When I was your age I was also only interested in guys in their late 20s onwards. And I wasn't a stripper then, natural boobs, no extensions etc. But I wasn't taken seriously by most of them simply because I was 18-19, even though I was relatively mature. So perhaps take that into account? You meet the right guy when you're not looking! And he will be able to look beyond the fake boobs.

Imagine if you were in a happy relationship now. Would you still resent your boobs? I assume you went through a lot financially and otherwise to get them, so think carefully about it.

I had mine for over 10 years and took them out last year. They look awesome I love the natural look & I'm 40

If you look after yourself as you would any kind of downsizing eg lipo etc with 24/7 compression that will also assist the skin in snapping back to it's rightful place

I was in the national newspaper recently selling my story about my experience - it seems to be quite popular.
