    Default amazon wishlist

I've been thinking about making a wishlist and putting it on my xpeeps profile. Who here has an amazon wishlist and has actually had somebody buy them things off it? and some other questions..
-Do some of you guys only use the "e gift cards" because they are safer?... i think those are what they're called.
-What kind of things have you had on your wishlist that guys have bought?
-When the item gets to your house, does it have your cam name on the package, or does it have your real name on it?
-Is it possible at all for the buyer to figure out your address?

Sorry for all the questions, i just want to get the info ahead of time so i can know what to expect.

I haven't had anyone buy anything yet. But I just made mine maybe a month or so ago. I have the link on my xpeeps. I've seen girls get absolutely spoiled from their wishlist with anything from toys, to dresses, to posters, cds, etc. Put whatever you want on it, it's YOUR wishlist.
I wouldn't say the ecards are necessarily safer than xpeeps tokens. Maybe if someone asked why they're spending money on WMMH (that's what it comes up as when you buy token; I've bought them before) it could be an issue where as the card they can say it was a gift for someone.
The package has your real name. Amazon gets your real info but you have options to keep your name/address a secret from the buyer.
They can't figure out your address if you have it set to conceal it.

I've had a lot of people buy things for me.
I've had guys buy egiftcards to pay for shows and just as a special gift.
Usually, guys have bought me lingerie, toys, and shoes, but occasionally someone buys me a costume or something totally not sex or work related.
You have to create an address within Amazon for your cam persona and set that to be your ship-to address. When people buy me stuff off my wishlist, it comes to my house as my stage name.
If you check the box that allows Amazon to share your personal info with 3rd parties (this is for items that aren't stocked and shipped by Amazon) then it IS possible that your name maybe be divulged if the person wants to be a dick and call the company or if they get a copy of the invoice.

I've never had a problem with a customer getting my personal info, nor have I had any bad experiences with sharing my Amazon list. It's been a godsend, actually. I've gotten so much awesome stuff from fans, it's amazing how generous guys can be.

Do you get notified when someone buys you something? Or does it just show up at your door?

You can choose to be notified or not.
I believe the box to check says "leave it a surprise" or something like that

I got 33 gifts from my wonderful fans & friends for my Bday. They filled up my trunk & backseat, it was awesome.
Still get about 4 to 10 gifts a month in general. I love it. Mainly they get me lingerie, sexy dresses & heels over the other things I have chosen.

In return I make them a 5 minute clip of me in the item as a thank you. So it all works out well.

All my stuff is sent to a PO box for safety reasons, that I have under my DBA.

It is one less expense for me, they love seeing me in it on cam or in a scene I have shot for my site. Makes them more apart of my life. I adore the fans who do this for me & they say it is their way of giving me back the years of happiness I have brought them. A win-win situation for all involved.

I've never received an email or anything saying someone bought me something, and I don't have the "Don't Spoil My Surprises" box checked. Maybe I've been missing them, but I think the only way you can know is if you go to your wishlist page and click on the "purchased" option in the drop-down box.

I have a wishlist. I have been bought toys, lingerie, a kindle, a carpet cleaner (spilled red wine on a show), and other small things. I have some advice on saftey I have learned the hard way.

GET A UPS BOX! Amazon will not give out your name and address BUT if it is fullfilled but someone else (most toys and lingerie are) they WILL give it out if you have call them. Guy got my address this wayh. Now I have a UPS box an hour away from home. I let them know what my alias is and everything goes there under my cam name. I feel much safer. Plus the UPS is a tax right off.

i'm an Amazon junkie myself and i always buy things from there with my own money, and i always get them fulfilled by Amazon because i'm a part of the Amazon Prime thing and i get free 2 day shipping so i just have a tendency to never add anything to my cart that isn't fulfilled by amazon because they tend to take longer as well, so thank you for all the helpful info! I'm going to create one today

BE careful picking things that are not from Amazon....

Sometimes they have things listed from a 3rd party vendor and they will share your address where the amazon item will keep it safe and secret.

There was another thread about it - more so, I love that place. So much cheaper stuff and I am so lazy...LOL

It does have my cam name on it - and no one has ever said a thing.

I generally just ask my guys for Amazon Gift Cards to an e-mail address I use. It doesn't matter really because you just copy and paste the code into that one section anyways.

Be careful not to accept gifts in lieu of payment for shows. If someone says, "Oh I'll buy you this gift and we can do a skype show." Tell him you'll have to wait until the gift gets to you before you do the show. There's a thread here about a scammer doing that, then canceling the item. If someone gives you a virtual amazon gift card for a show, copy the code and add it to your amazon account balance before you do the show. They can cancel the card and get their money back if the code hasn't been added to an amazon account yet.

I had a guy try and give me a fake code once. It was pretty hilarious. I entered it into my account, it said invalid. I tried a few more times. Then I told him, "Hey sweetie, it says the code isn't working. You probably already used it and just forgot. Could you try to resend or get another?" He HAD been typing something, but Skype showed him erasing it and then he logged off. Haven't ever seen him again. *heh heh, caught a scammer*

I love my wishlist! There is pretty much always something in the mail to me, courtesy of some devoted regulars!

    - I have had e-gift cards, but I am not a huge fan. Honestly, I would rather have the gift, than spend time shopping for something myself. I'm lazy like that. However, they ARE safer in terms of your address being revealed, so if you are really worried, and can't get a PO box, this is a decent option. That said, most guys who use the wishlists really ENJOY picking out actual gifts, and feel that money is too impersonal. If a guy wants to send me money (and it is not in return for any adult-industry stuff, but just a gift) they can PayPal it.

    - As for what kind of stuff, well, everything and anything!! I have had foot massagers, art for the walls, clothes, books, jewelry, housewares, ANYTHING. It doesn't have to be cam-related, and in fact, one of my guy like the super personal stuff - makes him feel involved in my life in some way.

    - The package will have your cam name on it. Although Amazon doesn't give out your FULL address, when you go to your profile, you will still see your name and general area listed. This has caused me a few issues when I haven't been home to receive the package, and needed to present ID at the post office to pick it up!! I have always been able to explain that the name is a non-existent person, and showed them my photo attached to the wishlist that the item was purchased from, and my ID with the same address on it, and got the package anyway, but it CAN be a hassle!

    - YES. The buyer can find out your address in a number of ways. Although Amazon claims to keep the address a secret, there are some times where this becomes undermined by other processes. Major ones to look out for are the "universal list" and "third party sellers". Universal wishlist will literally GIVE the buyer your address, while third party sellers sometimes do the same. On top of that, even the main site can sometimes give out your address accidentally. This happens when the seller sends an e-mail to notify the buyer of delivery info (fed ex tracking numbers, for example, which reveal the full address) or to ask for feedback on a delivered item. Also, if Fed Ex attempts a delivery when you are not home, they will send an "attempted delivery" e-mail to the buyer....with your full address.

End of the day - get a PO box. If you want to be REALLY careful, get it in the next town/city/state/whatever. This way you can still use the great features, get gifts, use the universal function etc etc without worrying about your actual home address popping up. It also means that you have a key, and don't have to provide ID for your cam persona when collecting stuff. Much better!!!
I take cash, debit or credit. I just don't take shit.
