Ok, so this is embarassing and gross, but I have a few cold sores right now.
I had a long intense weekend of partying that left my body drained and weak. Then I foolishly had a date with a guy who warned me about his cold sore. We avoided kissing, but somehow I ended up with like 3 cold sores the very next morning. (yesterday) I have had cold sores before, so I am confused as to whether this is a new infection of a different strain that I picked up from this guy, or is this simply another flare up of my pre-existing infection?
I have been trying to figure out whether it would be possible for me to spread the herpes infection from my mouth to my own vagina from either touching my mouth and then touching my pussy, or sticking a toy in my mouth and then inside of me.
I read that you can only spread a herpes infection from one part of your body to another if it is the initial outbreak of the infection. After that, your body will produce antibodies to that you can't infect yourself from one location to another. So given the fact that I have had cold sores for several years, it would make sense that this isn't my first outbreak. But I'm worried that I have caught a new strain, since it seems like too much of a coincidence that I would suddenly get cold sores after being exposed to someone with them. Or is that how it works? Looking for help, please?
I took off too much time from work last week when I was partying, and now I am paying for it. I need to work my ass off this week, but fuck?! I'm so scared. I thought I'd try to just do vaginal play and no bj's, but so far that hasn't gone well. It really pisses customers off, and I'm making no money. Also I'm super paranoid about accidentally touching my mouth before I play with myself. It's hard to break the habit of sucking on my finger after I stick it in myself too lol. I can't afford to skip work until this heals, and it's not worth giving myself fucking genital herpes over. Does anyone know anything about this? Thank you in advance for any support or advice!
