Mind Blowing Wow! What a story about a stripper that went wayyyy beyond dancing

I just finished reading an Ebook on Amazon about a chick that for dark reasons of her own that I don't
want to give away, went way beyond nude dancing. It's a story that you can't stop reading. The name
is "The Secret on the Second Floor". From beginning to end I felt pissed, sad, shocked, then ended up crying!
Check it out and let me know what you felt. It really got to me.

A curious guest that posts a poll, sets their status, and uses a personal avatar, whose first post is to promote a product?

Seriously. Am I so jaded that all I see is a spammer with an extra ten minutes of time?

Duh Re: Wow! What a story about a stripper that went wayyyy beyond dancing

    Yep, smells like spam!

No affiliate llink so it must be the author. Desperate for sales, eh?

From the looks of the book's description it's yet another stereotypical tale by a man who has zero clue (especially considering he would post crap like that on a board like this where there is almost no chance anyone wants to read it.

"a young woman who is haunted by a childhood secret, acting out the tortuous playbook of her youth as if possessed - propelling her on a provocative and promiscuous journey. While most girls grow up with a moral compass that guides them to be reticent and fearful of saying yes - Vicky grew up with a fear to say no."

    Man. Seriously?

found a page where you can read the first 15% of the book. did it just out of curiousity. from reading the first few pages it sounds like it was written by a pedophile... which was what i expected, seeing as it was written by a man about a young girl who was sexually abused and then helplessly had sexual relations with countless men from that point on.

Vicky Lester, the main character in The Secret on the Second Floor by Ron Knight, is just trying to find happiness in life. Unfortunately she doesn't really know what happiness is because she has never had it, far from it. She suffered through a very traumatic childhood which was compounded by others who took advantage of the fact that her mother was an alcoholic and didn't really pay much attention to Vicky and a step father who was content to "stay out of it" because his peace of mind was more important that protecting a young child. I am ashamed to say that I have always looked down upon young people who behave as Vicky does in this book without much consideration given to how or why they ended up behaving the way they do. But Vicky's story has shed light on how difficult the world truly is for many children, and what is a child to do if they are not given love, attention, guidance and support? Well written and engrossing read.

The Secret on the Second Floor was an eye opening read for me. Not that I am unaware that these things happen but in my day these things were all "hush hush" not to be spoken of and certainly no young ladies would dress or behave as Vicky Lester does in this book! Now we as a society are more aware that young girls and boys are victimized every day and unfortunately when that is coupled with a family life that is non-existent what is a child to do? This is the basic story of Vicky, who suffered terribly as a child and had no one to turn to. I don't usually read books that are so graphic in their sexual content but I was intrigued by this young woman's journey to find happiness. Well written book that will give you a different perspective on the "troubled teen".

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Message!!!, December 28, 2011

I really love reading books that convey a strong message, and this is one of those books. While the message isn't shoved down your throat every few pages the author has a unique way of telling a story but teaching you something at the same time.

The Secret on the Second Floor is the story of Vicky Lester, who, like so many people these days, had a very traumatic childhood which lead her into a lifestyle that most don't envision themselves in. The book kept me reading and kept me wanting to know if Vicky was able to find happiness after such a hard upbringing. You will find yourself rooting for her throughout the book but where she ends up is one of those things that you'll have to read the book to find out! The book definitely had it's graphic parts so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone under the age of 16 but I loved the story and the message!

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth reading, December 27, 2011

This review is from: The Secret on the Second Floor (Paperback)
The Secret on the Second Floor by Ron Knight is the story of Vicky Lester, a young woman trying to find her way in the world after a traumatic and emotionally unfulfilling childhood. Without much support at home, Vicky strikes out on her own and soon finds that there are many challenges for her to face before she can change the course of her life.

This page turner is sexually graphic at times, but the author does an excellent job of developing the characters. Vicky is not someone I would usually find myself relating to or associating with, but I found myself rooting for her despite her socially unacceptable behavior. My only criticism is that I wished the author had elaborated on the reasons that Vicky's mother, Mary, was so distant and abusive. I look forward to reading more by this author in the future.

The first five pages talked about the girl's experience giving a guy head in 8th grade, and than about her molestation. And than about how much of a gorgeous high school drop out she was and she flaunted her looks and didn't care if she had friends and mommy and daddy don't love her and I lost so many brain cells from that book. Blaming my run on sentence on that book LOL

I think I'll write a book about losers who write stereotypical stories about strippers than try to hawk book on stripper site filled with non stereotypical strippers.

What a loser. I hate these kinds of books because they keep the myths alive.

    Hahaha I just saw this.

The poll is a dead giveaway.

But it's proving to be entertaining in a rather perverse way, so I will leave it for now.
