Thumbs up never judge a book by its cover

so im still a newbie at my club ive only been there for about 2 weeks now and last night was the slowest night ever there were more dancers than customers. With the fact that it was raining and the NBA playoffs were on business was shot that night. There were about six guys in the club 3 of them were older the other 3 were about early 20's. I noticed when i came out the dressing room that there was a young guy with a hoodie and sneakers on sipping on a corona. He had dark black curly long hair and was just sitting and looking around. I decided to sit down and talk with him but as i was making my way one of the older girls said to me "dont waste your time with him he looks like just a looker". It wasn't busy and i wouldn't be back on stage for another 30 mins so it wasnt time wasting for me. So i sit down and have this amazing conversation with this guy, he buys a vip room and were just up there talking the whole night... he didnt really want a lap dance he was just so excited to have a decent conversation. We had alot of drinks and he reached in is hoodie and pulled out 500$ . He said i was waiting for the right girl to come by ....all the other dancers looked at me like i wasnt shit just because i came to the club in a beat up hoodie and some regular shoes . I turned the slowest night ever into a really good night. When i went to the dressing room the girls kept asking me "does he have money?,what did you get?' they even started going up to him.I simply just told them there's amazing conversation.

Some of the biggest spenders look nothing like big spenders. They don't need to show off with clothing, bravado, etc. because they are rich mofo's.

    Money speaks louder than clothes.

    Cha-ching!

I go with the vibe I get from him. It's all about body language first, the rest is second....

Exactly!!! Plus I've had older "respectable" guys buy one VIP, with the house money so you get 15 percent taken out, and than don't tip. I've found a lot of guys in their 20's and 30's who are just starting to do well are a lot more free with their money than frugal men with money that are older.

Agreed. My rule of thumb was if they looked wealthy they probably didn't spend. While this wasn't always the case more often than not it was true. Think about this, why would a guy come into the club late at night wearing a suit? Usually because he wanted you to think he had money.

I really dont mean to sound bad but this is new girl luck. You took the time to sit and approach him unlike the older girl/s, and prolly that guy wouldnt have spent time with any of those girls bc he has seen them for years. You are fresh meat which is what alot of guys go for. Alot of times after you have been around for a while those same guys who r spending now wont spend a dime. They will ignore you and u will ignore them, just like the older girl. So my advice to you from a "vet" is to hold onto that new girl money bc it will in time get harder to come by. Save it bc ur $500 nights after a while may dwindle to $100 nights after an uncertain amount of time...

I would have to agree with this 100%. Especially at my club.... Business is usually pretty steady, but weekday nights can get kinda slow. A lot of girls look at the lack of customers as no money. We have a lot of regulars that come in on these nights and a lot of girls hang out with them instead of mingling with strangers. These regulars spend money...but you usually have to sit and drink with them forever until you can make anything because they've come to expect this treatment. The hustle at my club is much more relaxed... a lot of guys actually complain that they want to spend, but no one comes up and talk to them. A lot of this has to do with a large regular base at my club... as well as a lot of business men who come through. I've made surprisingly large amounts of money going and chatting with the most unlikely people. For a while i wouldn't go up to young attractive guys because i figured that they wouldn't spend. I mean... they can probably get whatever they want, right? I feel like if i actually enjoy giving the guy dances there must be something wrong there. lol. Over the past week, i've had quite a few young guys buy multiple dances from me and tip me well on top of it. A lot of the older men don't even tip I've noticed. A friend of mine actually came to visit me at work. He's overweight, kind of a nerd, but an awesome and cool dude. He was wearing a star wars shirt....but he had a grand in cash in his pocket. And he bought dances from multiple girls, got a champagne with one girl, and tipped her $250. It just proves that you should go up to EVERY SINGLE PERSON.

I agree! I will be honest and say I judged a younger man last night, and he ended up getting two dances from me. Although he disappeared after I went on stage and left his FULL beer on the table. I know he enjoyed himself during the dances... maybe he enjoyed himself a little too much? >.<

Thankfully though a huge group came in for the last 15 minutes and paid me $120 just to sit and talk. Best deal yet!

My best customer right now *forever forever speak it into existence lol* is a young (like 30) super good looking guy. I looked at him and thought, well, he's really too good-looking, but he just had nice body language and a nice aura, so i went up to him, and it was a very profitable night

These guys are usually used to SCs, used to dealing with business transactions at work (most work in finance), and thus are not likely to be easily talked into a $500 room/tip.

OP good for you. Keep up the good work. My best customers have always looked like cheapos, because they have the kind of money that isn't flashy-like people in the drug trade (mainly marijuana harvesters), retirees, transplants from other countries that are now earning big IT money. Tonight I got $400 for a half hour of conversation with a guy that looked like a total dud. ALWAYS be friendly and positive toward everyone!
i was saying that the bar regs tend to spend on the new girls and once uve been there for a while they wont spend no matter how nice u r to them..Seen many girls try and walk away with nothing.
