Default Epoch vs. CCBill vs. Verotel

I'm setting up a credit card processor on my website so that I can accept payments for panties, cam shows, and everything else I sell. I don't have a members site, and at this point, I don't want one. I just want to process payments (mainly) for cam shows. Does anyone have any experience with any of the processors? Any good or bad experiences?

    Thanks for your input, ladies!

If you're only in it small time like that then you're better off sticking with one of the large cam/ phone/ content platforms who take a % of your money, but in return you benefit from their traffic and other perks. Processors are expensive and complicated to set up, they also take a %, and you need to provide your tax and personal info. I know a lot of girls use CCBill and that's who I was looking at until I decided it just wasn't worth it at this point for me.

Basically the question comes down to paying ~20%+ in combined service charges and processing charges to an online credit card processing service ( who uses their own credit card merchant accounts to process your transactions ), versus paying a significantly lower percentage in processing charges via establishing your own credit card merchant account. However, in order to establish your own credit card merchant account, the commercial bank underwriting that account is going to require that you provide a ton of financial and other information about your business. Additionally, significant initial setup fees ( Visa's fee was $750 ) are typically required to 'pay for' the financial and other investigation / verification of your business that are now required under US banking laws.

So the decision boils down to one of expected total dollar volume of expected online credit card transactions. If you're talking $5k per year, then the 20%+ 'cost' factor of the online processing service is probably less significant than the initial setup fees plus lower percentage 'costs' of credit card processing via your own merchant account. But if you're talking $50k per year, the 20%+ 'cost' factor of a processing service would be much higher than the combined cost of initial setup fees plus less expensive processing fees using your own credit card merchant account.

However, be aware that where commercial banks underwriting credit card merchant accounts are concerned, they want to see 'professional' business accounting. That means a 'real' set of books for your business, tax returns etc. If those aren't available, odds are that the commercial banks won't touch you with a proverbial 10 foot pole ... thus you're 'stuck' paying 20%+ to a processing service.

There are lots I mean lotssss of threads on payment processors. Anyways I've used ccbill an vertoel in the past. I never had a problem with either. I think ccbill is the #1 adult payment processor. But they requires $700 to use visa. Verotel doesn't require $700 or any upfront fee to use visa. They however are little more complicated to use then ccbill. I've never used Zombaio but I don't think they require a deposit either. I haven't use them but there's also payoneer private loads.
