Lightbulb Thinking about wintering somewhere other than New England. Any suggestions?

Hey love bugs, I'm thinking about wintering somewhere other than New England, since I hate the weather and the snow and the ice and the dead $. Literally dead. I'm open to pretty much anywhere, I'd prolly stay a minimum of January to February. I'm considering NYC since it'd be a short bus/train ride into the city, but I'm not sure if I could handle NYC. How is it for newbies to the city, and newbies to dancing in NYC? I've been dancing for 2 years but I'm sure its a whole different thing there. Especially compared to New England. Was also thinking about the Carolina's/the South in general. Well really anywhere lol.

I would probably sublet or if I met someone cool on SW stay with them and pay half the rent...

Let me know your thoughts ladies, I really appreciate it <3 All any dancers do in New England in the winter is get plastic surgery. LOL. there is literally no money to be made here in the winter.

Try New Orleans or other southern states -people are just like geese, they like to fly south for the winter.

I was in New Orleans for Mardi Gras beginning 3 weeks before Fat Tuesday. It was a slow Mardi Gras, but after that, it was nice and steady with business conferences, St Patty's Day etc in March and I made more $. March was my best month there from February 1 until Jazz Fest in May (which did NOTHING for business)
