    Default Vaneers replaced

Just got my vaneers replaced I got the cubic zirconium filled past the margin. Holy crap does it hurt! Wow like really bad. I had vaneers before but my natural teeth were lighter since bleaching and u could see a line where they connected to the tooth at the margin which didn't look nice.

I went and had them filed down a week ago. They put on a temporary set of teeth I had to wear while the new ones were getting made. The temporary set was very ugly and fit poorly where every bite I was careful not to chip a real tooth. They really were awful to wear and uncomfortable.

Now I'm sitting here still partially numb with my permanent set and they are beautiful! They look very natural and much prettier than before. I'm very happy with the results, but the pain is much more intense than I imagined! Probably will need to take something like a vicodin so I can sleep tonight.here I thought it wasn't going to be such a big deal but I was very wrong it's been a very long and painful week, but Im glad I did it.

I had mine replaced as well. I was so afraid to eat with the temporary ones in! Like they would fall off or something lol. It did hurt. They didn't numb me up when they put in my new permanent set, but did send me home with some nice painkillers lol

They didn't give me any pain meds they just numbed me and when that wore off it was bad! I was going to take some left over from my ba but I chose ibuprofen instead and it worked my mouth felt a lot better after that and I could eat. Today waking up my mouth is sore but not as bad as yesterday

Anytime you get something new done to your teeth, it temporarily shakes up the nerve & it's sensitive for a little while. Sometimes a couple weeks to up to 18 months. Your nerve in your tooth basically gets bruised & it swells & you're feeling the pain from the pressure. If it doesn't start to feel better within a couple weeks, call your dentist.

How often you girls gotta keep replacing your teeth? I'm tempted to get veneers, to make them slightly longer but i'm pretty happy with my real teeth either way. I like the look of really big teeth. I'm gonna get those clear braces first(they're kinda crooked but you can't tell), then decide if I should maybe. Don't know, maybe.

I got mine redone because of discoloration and receding gum line (guns were pulling back from the veneer, shitty job first time around). Normally the can last for life., or only one replacement.

I also have invisalign. I had regular braces for trees, and the. Had to wear a retainer every night. Well I lost the retainer and went back to the orthodontist, who recommended invisalign to replace the retainer. I only wear them at night. Love them! They are keeping my teeth nice and straight. Although they're not as invisible as I thought they'd be

I've been contemplating getting mine redone but I'm terrified. I HATED having that damn false set in for two weeks. Ugh. And last time I had dental work done I ended up with a root canal...actually two! Not because of an infection but because my never was inflamed. I don't have any real complaints other than I think they are too big and on one tooth the seam didn't seal close enough and stain got in . That worries me because if stain is in there, I'm sure bacteria could be eating away at my veneer!
I do have a gum pulling away on one tooth but it's not even one with a veneer. Plus at 1K a tooth, it's expensive as hell!

I had insurance for mine, but even do it only covered half. I have two fakie teeth, and it was still almost 1k with 50% insurance coverage. I did get the most expensive, nicest option though. I want these ones to last !
