Default Advertising in the Age of Backpage

Hello ladies! I'm a FBSM provider in the very dirty south and since going indy I've sworn off Backpage for several reasons, including trusted info from multiple sources that this city is going to see some busts go down this summer in the SC's and via Backpage. When you google my home town and "body rubs" "erotic massage" "FBSM" the first 5-10 results are BP links!
After that are AdultSearch and CityVibe (which is odd, I've advertised on both recently just to see and got 0 responses and it seemed like no one was really on there....). Eros does not even rank on search results in my city, and though I got a few responses from a month long ad (like 4 during Mardi Gras season), it does not seem like "solid" advertising.

I'm really, really wary of review sites such as TER and ECCIE, plus the bodyrub sections on both don't seem to be updated or popular in my city. I'm looking to hopefully have enough regulars by the end of the summer that I don't advertise any more then say, once every 6 weeks or so, but for now I'd like somewhere I can feel safe advertising everyother week.

It should be noted that I'm almost done with my own website....but whats a website without traffic?

Other than actually going up and approaching guys in luxury casinos and hotel bars, whats an online adult advertising site that's fairly popular in the south that has some section for girls who are in the industry but not actually escorts/companions? Feel free to PM me if you prefer.

    Thanks a bazillions!

When I go to New Orleans I've had some luck with Eros so you may want to try that. Some of them still act like "backpage callers" but others are a little classier lol. Yeah the eccie guys always complain if you're not "full service" and GFE so I use a separate name when I do body rubs and don't even deal with that site. I know in TX backpage is pretty much the only place to get calls for body rubs but most of them don't want to be screened and the cops do go after BP girls a lot more, so I only do that part time and see guys who are willing to give me some kind of verifiable screening info.

Yea, I think that's what bothers me most - BP clients have virtually erased screening. But hey, if you ever come to NOLA I'll be happy to share my list of "good boys." I'm thinking about posting suggestive ads under CL personals. A fairly surprising number of guys don't seem to even know about BP and just left the hobby after CL went down.

Lol cool, yeah that's a good idea...I've also heard of body rub girls advertising in the therapeutic massage section on CL and BP and I don't think the "authorities" look over there as much.

Omg, thank you yellowrose you know, I've seen those sections and yet I've never once thought about posting there - I feel like such a ditz lol. I found a site called "NaughtyNightLife" - they have one for each city, like CL and BP, but its just the adult stuff, looks promising....anyone ever heard of it?

So you're in New Orleans? I used to book for a girl who worked there a year ago and in addition to Eros and BP, she'd advertise a couple weeks a month in the local alternative newspaper. I believe it's called the Gambit? This was for escorting, but I believe they have a body rub section as well. Anyway, we would get the ads published just when a convention hit town and she banked! I don't know how you feel about advertising in print, but it's something you may want to consider.
