Thumbs up So glad I found stripperweb

    Hey Girls,

I just wanted to say how glad I am to of found an online community of intelligent, savvy, articulate women who aren't afraid of there femininity.

I'm not a dancer, I just came across this while researching C4S (recently started putting videos online) and I found it so refreshing compared to the usual crap girls post all over the Internet. Like those posters that go "when a girl says this she means that" i hate that crap! Say what u friggin mean and ur problems are solved!! I work in talent management and am constantly dealing with dumb actors and wannabe movie stars who don't have a clue and need constant guidance and coaching, but you ladies are so awesome in the way you have complete control over your careers, your money and your bodies!

Anyway, just wanted to say, glad I found u guys will be nice to share and chat with u all.

    Thank you for the compliments.

But don't be so harsh with the people you manage. You seem to have experience in the biz.... that doesn't go for everyone. I understand you may get frustrated... being asked a silly question for the millionth time or dealing with individuals that don't know better.

Be patient with your talent. Educate and guide them. You're a manager for a reason... and it was your choice to become one.

    Hey Sophia,

Don't worry. I'm only being harsh cause its the Internet and I can be. I actually love what I do and do coach and guide my artists a lot. In truth, what annoys me is the continuing cycle of stupidity. The industry in Australia is very different to what I understand of the American industry. It seems to be a much more business minded and profit centric industry there, where-as here even the professionals are a little amateurish. Not just the artists but the agents, producers, advertisers etc. Many of whom (in my lowly opinion) have questionable business practices and get away with it cause they can rely on the naivety of the artist. There doesn't seem to be much focus on training actors about the business side of the industry, their rights or obligations etc. The union isn't compulsory and there aren't really any bodies or organizations that oversee or monitor anything.

So when I get frustrated and rant about my dummy actors, the frustration is aimed more at the industry as a whole and the fact that there is so much misinformation being given to these actors by people or organisations with a self serving agenda.

But yeah, don't mind me if I go off on the occasional Ari-Gold-esque rant, cause that's the whole point of Internet socializing isn't it? Getting to say what u can't in real life? Plus sometimes some of my talent are just plain stupid :p

Hey sexy stuff don't worry about people questioning your posts, it will happen all the time..its the internet don't take it personally. I completely agree that we should be able to talk about issues we have in our lives and our jobs. Yes she chose her profession but there are pros and cons to everything so I don't mind hearing some of the issues. Some people have problems letting people express their opinions online. Its cool though don't take it personal!
